This is great! I love all the beautiful scarves!!!

I have dark brown hair (with a bit of red at the moment), dark brown eyes, olive skin. So I did the test and the answer to every question was warm. However, I love cool tones, such as blue, green, red, and I think those colors actually look good on me (I hope I'm not delusional :-)). I do like warm tones, but I really have to be careful with certain shades of yellow and orange. I think I fall into criteria of bright/saturated colors vs pale, if there is such. The moment I put on a pale pink, pale yellow, light blue, or yellowish-orange (vs. burnt orange or orange with coral undertones), my face immediately looks grey, completely washes me out.

This is my little collection. I think they all look good on me, with an exception of Jardin de Leila, not sure about that one, but my daughter's name is Layla, so I couldn't pass on it. If I don't wear it, I'll pass it on to her.

Thanks for letting me share.

Love ur collection!

What a nice theme! :) Interesting to read about how others are dealing with this. I'm clearly a warm person (red hair, yellow skin tone) and think orange brings out my own colors, warm pinks are also my go to colors, but I do wear more cold tones like pink and purple once in awhile too! Even blue sometimes. (I might have posted some of the pics in another thread before, sorry about that. And some of them are shawls.. ;))

Love ur scarves with their hues of oranges and pinks[emoji173]️

I had my colors done about 15 years ago and I was told I was a cool winter. I have dark brown hair and blue/ green/ grey eyes that charge depending on what I wear. Since I started dying my hair I have a touch more warmth in it, but I'm trying to keep it very neutral. Blues, greens and purples definitely get me the most compliments. Most of my scarves are in this color family but usually with a warm twist that allows me to wear my gold birkin which was a gift from DH. My second love is neutrals. And then there are my wild cards that I just loved and seem to work for me, probably because they contain at least some cool colors.

I couldn't have wished for a more fun way to spend my Monday morning than to look at all the gorgeous scarf and shawl collections posted here!!! Ur collection is TDF[emoji7]

Hot and Humid here, but no rain or thunderstorms…

I came out a "cool" for almost all your questions, Lisa. I have always been attracted to cool colors -blue, green , purple, bluish reds rather than orange, gold, yellow.

Colors like dusty pink, grayish toned colors, do me no favors…

And I love the ocean from navy to aqua to teal.

Let's see what is my fav color?

(note: I do have a few scarves NOT pictured… LOL!)

Aaaah the different shades of blue... How much more beautiful can it get than this collection!!!

Wonderful collection hat trick!

Clearly you have found what works well for you thingumypoppy, beautiful collection :smile1:

I am totally on board with your analysis expatwife. I have similar coloring and feel what works best for me are bright and saturated colors, and my scarf collection definitely reflects that!

Oh, thank you very much, you're very sweet :)

I've really enjoyed looking at everyone's color choices! Beautiful collections and so many fabulous scarves!

A long time ago, I got the color test done a couple of times and came out winter one time and summer another...so who knows!!! Looking at my veins I have both greenish shades and bluish ones so I think I must just be confused (no surprise there).

I think the best scarves overall on me are my Cosmos, Super H, and Tour De Cles twilly but I don't really think any of them look horrible on me. I can always pair them with something I am wearing to make it all work at least ok.

Here's my little collection and if you go left to right, the two rows on the left are the ones I think look best on me, progressing over to the right to things that I don't think look as good, but nothing looks horrible. I'd say my biggest "mistake" was the black and white Ex Libris. I wear SOOO MUUUCH BLAAACCCKKKK I should have asked for the pink... I need to try this one as a contrast against a bright shirt.

You can see though, that the a lot of the scarves in the "ok, but not fabulous on me" section have a medium blue that I think washes me out a little.

Oops- I just saw I forgot to take Miss Brazil out of her twilly tube...At least she's in the right section on the left...

Pocketbook, all these scarves are just so delicious....

I've been learning over the past few years just how neutral my coloring is. I can wear warm or cool, ivory or blinding white, silver or gold (well, I'm allergic to gold)...

Red is my "color"—of all shades, warm and orange-y to cool and a wine grenat shade. Here are a couple of brilliant new red scarves I've gotten recently...

How interesting that red is your colour, it certainly likes you.

I came out half-and-half in the quiz! :D
On second thoughts, that's probably an accurate reflection of my scarf collection, half cool blues and half warm oranges.

Hat Trick what a wonderful collection

Wow, what a beautiful collection! You look fab in all your modelling pics so you must be picking the right colours.

The outfit I had set out for today happens to be "my colors"- blue purple green. This is the best I could do capturing it in the morning sunshine. I tried to get my hair and skin color. The photo is probably a touch warmer than IRL. The scarf is au ciel de la mer blue, vert, mauve.View attachment 3070638

Oh this looks lovely on you Pup.

Bunnycat, I like how you arranged things. That might be a helpful exercise for me. I have to say that you always looks fabulous in everything you post! You have a lovely collection.

Thank you Pocketbook Pup! It was a pretty good exercise (even if I cringed at having all those empty boxes to refill after!). At least some of the boxes have the little name tag in so I knew what went where and didn't have to guess. I did learn that I surely lean in to the red and other darks category.
