*whispering doesn't have anything to do with the Thread*: after lurking into arabesques'es blog my wishlist doubled. Somebody has to do an intervention with me. Urgently.

I'm blushing. Thank you. Hermès scarves are unsurpassably gorgeous, so I don't think it's a bad thing to have an ever growing wishlist. :p

Kathrin96,
I own the Leonhardi and recommend go for it. Here is a pic with a matching
jacket from Lodenfrey, Munich.

Beautiful, Croisette.

I actually think this scarf looks better when tied, than seeing the design flat!

I agree with you, though I'm someone who found the design beautiful when it was just a flat image on a computer screen.

Again, thank you all for your kind compliments on my mousselines. Before the week ends, let me share a couple of the newest pieces.

"Soie Polo" or "Polo de Bagatelle" mousseline stole, based on a Jean-Louis Clerc 1955 carré, has been a dream piece of mine since it came out. It sort of came and went without much fanfare, and since I wasn't living near a boutique, I never got to see it.

I was fortunate to find not one but two colors of it just last week. The first is blue lac/vert, and the second is rose dragée/ciel.

These have immediately become favorites in my scarf wardrobe. :happy dance:

I don't want to flood the thread excessively with them (I'm tempted, believe me), but I've posted more images of them on the blog...

Really beautiful. I covet the blue green one to wear with Colvert. Love how you use the mors ring. Pirula are you watching for ideas on how to use your new ring?

Beyond beautiful Arabesques. I don't often feel covetous, but... [emoji176]

Thank you, scarf1, PocketbookPup, Croisette, and Pirula. I was thrilled when they both suddenly popped up—I've avidly looked for years now. These go in my personal scarf pantheon alongside the rouge vif Carré Kantha and my Jamdhani cotton/silk stoles. These five might rightly be called my favorites.

You said exactly what I feel. The blue is like a watercolor painting—or even a Marc Fauvism painting of blue horses. Meanwhile, the rose is like a very different Fauvism painting. Glorious. I would be so happy living under the gaze of one of Marc's horses, and now, in a way, I feel like I can.
