Again, thank you all for your kind compliments on my mousselines. Before the week ends, let me share a couple of the newest pieces.

"Soie Polo" or "Polo de Bagatelle" mousseline stole, based on a Jean-Louis Clerc 1955 carré, has been a dream piece of mine since it came out. It sort of came and went without much fanfare, and since I wasn't living near a boutique, I never got to see it.

I was fortunate to find not one but two colors of it just last week. The first is blue lac/vert, and the second is rose dragée/ciel.

These have immediately become favorites in my scarf wardrobe. :happy dance:

I don't want to flood the thread excessively with them (I'm tempted, believe me), but I've posted more images of them on the blog...

Beautiful and so ladylike Arabesques!! That blue one, especially, sings!

Congratulations arabesques, these are amazing mousseline stoles. I am just mildly obsessed with Jean-Louis Clerc at the moment, having just purchased the reissue of Paddock. I absolutely love his mid-late fifties aesthetic and your finds are truly special. I am a huge fan your blog by the way :smile1:

Gorgeous ladysummerrose, and so elegant with you CDC as well!

Yesterday the weather cooled down, so I wore a new to me 90 silk for the first time.

Reve d'australie. (FW1999)
Based on aboriginal motifs of the "dreamtime".
I have been to Australia multiple times, so had been on the hunt for this for awhile:
