Each one a beauty

Where we are someone keeps rare breed chickens and I find them so beautiful to look at. They're so lucky too, like your 3 spectacular birds
papertiger, can you IMAGINE anyone, in their right mind, giving these threee away??!! All our chickens know their name. They all come running when they see us. All have their own personalities. In warm weather, if we sit on the porch, they all gather round and hang out with us.

They mostly do....they are best of friends. My husband named them D'Artagnon,Aramis and Athos. When we brought 5 hens into the mix, there was some jostling and name calling amongst them at first. The black one , Athos, courted hard and won the hearts of three hens. Aramis nagged the two other hens until they accepted him. D'Artagnon hangs around and once in a while gets lucky.

I love Athos the best. He hands over his treats to his hens. He will sit in the coop with them for comfort while they lay their eggs (it hurts a bit). He is just such a perfect gentleman! And I am delighted by his crooked little sideburns and beard!
This is for your gentlemen roosters:
