OK- here's my worst one. And here's my story. I make glass beads (lampwork) and perfume bottles....so of course I thought what I REALLY need is the scarf with perfume bottles on it! So I found one, but it had a green border. Of course, I was like, well, I'm fine with green, but it turns out not THIS green in particular and I knew it as soon as I got it an put it on. I keep it mainly for the darn hot pink bottle and the center but I always keep the border folded out of my sight at all times.....

My goodness those beads and bottle are FABULOUS!

Literally every scarf looks great on you.

Looks like 3 different gavs to me. If you like the cw, moma, do keep! ;)
You are both so kind. Thanks!
I think I will keep it. Mostly it kept me from impulse-buying the Flowers of South Africa in similar CW. I have a crush on these colors (which might be temporary), so buying the gavroche saved me money, LOL. Also it's from the men's shop in NYC which I love. The SAs there are wonderful.

Thank you for your feedback.
I would love to see your Luna Park styled.
Perhaps then I will have a greater love for it.
I shall try to post a modshot; my weekends are usually scarf-free ;) It doesn't get much use because I have two Luna Park in blue and one more in green. My black cw scarves tend to be used less frequently because they are usually very dramatic and my office attire is very casual. When I am getting ready for work at 6am, my fuzzy brain seems to home in on safe colours in pink, blue and green. When I'm a good girl and pick my outfit the night before, the dramatic colours stand a better chance to get chosen.

I actually don't mind the green. It looks similar to the soft sage of my Clé des Champs. In my humble opinion it seems to fight with the blue top but it looks lovely in the other two photos.

Your beads and bottles are beautiful. Some of my ancestors were bottle blowers in the north of England for several generations and it fascinates me as a craft. You are a very talented lady bunnycat.

Aww! Thank you Pautinka! I usually look good in darker green, but perhaps it is the green combined with the white. I had a dark red/white scarf or two as well and I just didn't like the combo on me (they've already made their way elsewhere....)

In fact, here’s what I got: a cute gavroche that I don’t really need. Keep? It does have 3 different edges: View attachment 3894881View attachment 3894882View attachment 3894883

Oh- this is so much cuter IRL than on the website! The colors are lovely!

My goodness those beads and bottle are FABULOUS!

Thank you festus!

Dear virtual twin - just read your lovely post while catching up on this thread and just moments after I had posted an answer along those lines to our Scarf Mistress  And, yes, they did see us charging in with our wallets wide open - I paid a premium on the evil, evil bay. Of course I will beam "our" Scythians just your way - PM me and I have a possible idea
I feel a little like we found out that we both dated the same useless but handsome boyfriend in college and have lots of shared experiences to laugh about. Except we're both still dating him. But it turns out he is twins, so we're neither of us being played. Just sent you a PM.

I was curious about this because I have some Japanese kimono silk called Oshima Tsumugi. Part of the creation process involves burying or dyeing it in mud. But I'd never heard of a Chinese technique for it. Guess what I found through trusty Google:
http://curious.royalbcmuseum.bc.ca/clear-as-mud-conserving-chinese-mud-silk-in-british-columbia/
The article says mud-silk is produced in Southeast China and parts of Southeast Asia. I am now officially  since my ancestors came from the former and I was born & bred in the latter.
Full moon appears to be optional.... but sure makes it sound romantic (DS muttered werewolves...)

Great information, thank you so much! And werewolves are considered very romantic in some circles, I'm told.

[The second one is Mors. It’s a strange combination of light teal with lilac and yellow. I can’t find anything to wear it with and it doesn’t look great with a white t shirt, even.
Any ideas?

Wow, that Mors is one tough color combination. I even spent some time googling around for home decor color schemes incorporating those three colors and got pretty much nothing, except the occasional Easter egg you've already done well to rule out. I like chocolate brown or a sand color to go with that teal-slash-slate color, but I don't know -- each looks good with either the lilac or the yellow, but not both. I guess I can offer only affirmation of the conundrum.

Looks like 3 different gavs to me. If you like the cw, moma, do keep! ;)

In the immortal words of Smokey Robinson, I second this emotion.

This one too.

Imagine my surprise about the necklace and wrapping a scarf. I was messing around this morning and wore this today. It’s Cheval Phoenix wrapped around an opera length pearl necklace. View attachment 3894487
Absolutely chic, FlaTiger!

OH, I am an old hippie from way back. Had a fake ID and was drinking at 14. Pretended I was dumb in school, then got into an ivy league college and surprised everyone. Didn't drive a car until I was 36 and pregnant and living in suburbia. Am not afraid of being laughed at or admitting I don't know something. Just stuff like that.
moma ... drinking at 14 and having a fake ID, you naughty girl!
