So why the Versailles? In the UK fireworks start around Diwali, this year mid October and carry on and on and on weeks past Guy Fawkes night (Nov 5). I'm sure they had an evening party in mind in this cw, and fireworks were so much a feature of a evening at the palace.
I dedicate my single Le Carnaval de Venise/Fetes Venitiennes to @momasaurus and @Croisette7 and our @Scarf Addict.. One of my flattering and beautiful favourite scarves, mine in a FSH box, so special.

Croisette , this is a revelation to me because L'Arbre du Vent passed by without my realising the superb detail and the wonderful way it ties. I really love the colourway too. One of those CSGM which is worth the weight in gold .
So much to ogle here, and especially the boots Versailles combo which I imagine as an outfit for the Royal Fireworks , fountains and Sun Kings and Queens etc,
