Our scarf of the day belongs to my BFF...we de-plissed it following PocketbookPups advice...turned out beautifully and will now be much worn and enjoyed .... it is totally smooth and flat but has a faint sateen diagonal stripe effect left from the plissedView attachment 3882019 View attachment 3882020
Wow, kate... this came out looking just gorgeous! And the diagonal effect actually suits the design... think of it as a "feature", lol!

Hi, moma. When I called it an ascot, I really did mean that it is an ascot. I like buying from the men's dept and I find ascots a very handy format for days when I'm too lazy to deal with swathes of silk. I have a few of these and I'm always on the lookout for more.

Oh, this is amazing! The only H ascots I've seen are in those small repetitive designs. Thanks for alerting me to another potential obsession!

Spectacular!
Thank you fifi!

Great outfit altogether, love all the touches and nuances of green blue and in-between.
Thank you, papertiger. Although it is rather dark, the colourcombo is very special. I love it.

Tyger Tyger CSGM today, no earthy but warm and cozy on a fresh day
Beautiful on you, ksuromax.

I'm quite at home in Autumnal colours, these are just a few

So why the Versailles? In the UK fireworks start around Diwali, this year mid October and carry on and on and on weeks past Guy Fawkes night (Nov 5). I'm sure they had an evening party in mind in this cw, and fireworks were so much a feature of a evening at the palace.

I dedicate my single Le Carnaval de Venise/Fetes Venitiennes to @momasaurus and @Croisette7 and our @Scarf Addict.. One of my flattering and beautiful favourite scarves, mine in a FSH box, so special.
Your Carnevale is so pretty and your golden boots are hot, papertiger!

Croisette , this is a revelation to me because L'Arbre du Vent passed by without my realising the superb detail and the wonderful way it ties. I really love the colourway too. One of those CSGM which is worth the weight in gold .
Dear frou frou, your compliment is so sweet, thank you.

SOTD for the last few days. The rich chocolate and ochre of Cendrillon & the sere end-of-fall cw of Central Park with its withered brown leaves.

And today's scarf is a Kachinas ascot in mustard, vermilion and steel blue on a background of drab olive and khaki.

That Central Park is TDF, xincinsin. I've lost 2 auctions, so sorry.

Welcome home to the Mac, Apple bill for the treatment more expensive than the vet .
I'm able to delve into my many earthy hues now .

My first CSGM and still in love, Brins D'Or in orange, mustard , grey khaki and red.
My second CSGM , La Femme aux Semelles de Vent in black , jewel tones and gold. My evening shawl.
Another Femme in Noisette , always reaching for that one , very undemanding too.
