I super adore all that angel booty!!! Yes, a brighter lippy colour would work better, but ... sigh! Amours....
I would love to sit in on such a good discussion! But I also understand other priorities take precedence, like beading and naps!SOTD in red because I spent 15min last night examining Diane and was too lazy to find more yellow for today. If I were truly OCD about this, I'd be spending this weekend comparing its artistic elements against scarves by Linares, Vauzelles and Hallo since it is variously attributed to them singularly and in combination. Fortunately, I have prior commitments like beading (I bought a loom) and afternoon naps
and lunch with DS
. (Very thin swirls of yellow and a goodly amount of ochre - so I'm not too far off topic).

The temptation is very strong as I have scarves by all three of them for comparison (despite my dead animals Linares squick) but, yes, one must set priorities...Soooooo, another possibility for a scarf week theme? Scarves by mystery/unknown designers? Plenty of gavroches, pareos and losanges fall under that category, I'd bet. We could do a mass Sherlock on them.

I may just have bought Amours on eBay the other day...do not tell my DH!! I just could not resist the whole over the top cherubs and flowers action. Every woman needs a scarf with a bare bottom on it, right?

Husband did ask why I bought this one as it's an odd colour combo. It's only ever going to go with a black or navy top I think. Note to self: stop buying stuff on eBay because it's a bargain! Get a grip!

I've been absent from the forum for a while as life got in the way, but I am back!
Yellow is a tough one for me: most of the time I feel it brings out the olive undertones in my skin and not in a good way. My sole yellow is from the archives, Au Coeur de la Vie.
Scarf mail brought me a mini personal grail: Dallet's Sichuan. I tend to more chartreuse/vert anis colors rather than strict yellow.
