Oh my- you will get me to buy a mors ring!! Looking good!!
Thank you dear!!
I have a love/hate relationship with the Mors. I originally bought it a couple years ago to use with gavroches...it enabled me to get a little extra length when I wear them around my neck [since my neck is quite fat...much more owl-like than swan-like! hehe] so they would drape better. It worked but was a bit fussy when worn on the back of my neck and I would have to keep making sure the knots didn't come undone. As such, it has been in the box for months on end without any wear. Then I decided I was feeling the look you see today and took it out to play. It's one of those pieces that I'm glad I have for certain purposes but certainly not an "everyday piece" for me.
Except for the discussion about sea horses, this is off topic, but I can't resist posting this photo of a sea horse relative - the Leafy Sea dragon. Is this the most bizarre animal you've ever seen? :wtf: It has leaves!!!

Oh my that is really creepy! I hope I never run into one IRL lol

@Bostonjetset I actually have quite a thick neck- 16.5!!!! That's why I really love tying the 65s or 70s as very clean, minimal looks- my SA showed me a cool look using a Mors ring with 2 different gavroches or also just tying 2 gavroches together and twisting slightly (a la MYH). I'll have to experiment with these!!!

Dear Scarfies, just had the best time catching up on all the marvellous scarves, this is a fast-moving thread. My contribution: by chance last week I wore this which I think is a "losange" for men.

IMG_0602.JPG Well thanks to pudfish I can recall this format. It's the men's Losange . It is so easy to wear; shaped like an elongated diamond, with length like a twilly but with more fabric. It is much easier to tie than a gavroche as no folds are required. I think they should do more in interesting prints. This one is a simple graphic of stylized H's made to look like nautical links or that chain d'ancre scarf ring.

Ok so this is not from the men's department but Grand Manège does have a sort of masculine theme with the equestrian straps and such plus it is my actual SOTD. On a side note, since I am a man, gender bender scarves for me would actually be the ones from the women's department haha.

Maxi twilly tied in a very "1980s secretary" pussycat bow haha.
