30 July 2017 YELLOW OR PASTEL SCARVES
I'm not ordinarily a yellow scarf person -- I even avoid colorways with too much "H gold" (which can look quite yellow sometimes). But thanks to Silky Friends like Lanit and others who wear yellow with such success, I've begun to dip my toe into some shades that actually don't look all that bad -- I already love orange, which isn't that far from peach, which kind of drifts into apricot, and before you know it, YELLOW!

Here are the results of some of my forays:
From last week, Fleurs et Papillons de Tissus with yellow highlights

Cavalcadour in pale yellow with shades of blue

Traité des Armes in a nice butter yellow

A tricky scarf to wear, as the design is small and leaves a wide plain hem (right, Momasaurus?)
Tying it in back shows the pattern better:

The "pale peach" category: Rivieres of Babel in a shade not often seen (at least by me)

And full-on yellow with Carrosserie

And my favorite apricot shade of Noel 24 Faubourg (because of the red ribbons)

And yes, if you don't have much yellow, remember that pastels are welcome this week too!

Fleurs d'Hellade. Closer to buttercream and ochre than true yellow.

Taking the bus toSt Pauls to see the Giocometti exhibition at Tate Modern.
Sangles en Zigzag is so useful, it segues into a casual outfit in a kinda cool way [ she hopes!]

DH bought this in H Mexico City , crazy man…prices so much higher there, I wasn't overwhelmed by the pattern at first but now I reach for it all the time as it ties so nicely and goes with everything without being matchy.
That bit of lemon yellow lifts the whole thing.
