xincinsin -- but a scarfie might call a carre neutral for several reasons. I know, for example, that both
Pierres and
Fleurs et Papillons (the ones I discussed above) are usually bright and colorful, so my colorways are definitely muted. Are muted colors neutral? Sometimes.
I ended up wearing
Pierres today because the taupe border blended well with my taupe top and, even with the pink, I thought it was a calmer combination than the higher-contrast black and white of
Fleurs. But I'm only gradually working my way into white scarves, so it might be a neutral to someone else.
Dans l'Atelier de Robert Dallet -- monochrome for sure, and it matches the top, but does that make it "neutral"?
