Xincinsin- this is simply fabulous as a combination! It's perfect! There's just a hint of similar yellow in your top, and plenty of contrast in the scarf pattern and top pattern that it look smashing together!

Thanks, everyone! I think some of the more whimsical designs are well suited for this smaller format. Wish they were still making these!

Some 70s from me too:

CCenP . So good for bringing together andy combo of black/brown/navy and smart with a white shirt or blouse. One of my best interview/conference scarves.

Minuit (I only have the 70s) I think of them as sunset, sunrise and midnight-green

Quad (the last 70 I bought). The only Quad which works on me and perfect with an original vintage Bus Stop by Lee Bender maxi dress DH bought me for my birthday (and swinging Bambou bag - naturally ).

I also have a bright fuchsia J'aime mon carré (the electric light is too yellow). Fabulous cw with browns, white, grey or navy

I'm honoured to be twins/sisters/cousins ABQ2ATL. I was wearing AS' Appaloosa all day but now switched to J'aime. I'm so pleased a I bought some 70s while I could.

Just read through all of last week's posts and loving all the AF designs. I had a final last week so really had no time to think about anything but studying.
But it is a new week and 70s! Love them: they are the perfect size for when I want a scarf but not TOO much scarf.

I agree, xincinsin -- but a scarfie might call a carre neutral for several reasons. I know, for example, that both Pierres and Fleurs et Papillons (the ones I discussed above) are usually bright and colorful, so my colorways are definitely muted. Are muted colors neutral? Sometimes.
I ended up wearing Pierres today because the taupe border blended well with my taupe top and, even with the pink, I thought it was a calmer combination than the higher-contrast black and white of Fleurs. But I'm only gradually working my way into white scarves, so it might be a neutral to someone else.

Dans l'Atelier de Robert Dallet -- monochrome for sure, and it matches the top, but does that make it "neutral"?

Couldn't decide on today's offering of 70s. First went with Pegase Pop but ended up with Swinging Silk.
