View attachment 3678077 Most of my scarves are bright, but these are my "colour me happy" ones.
Jungle Love (who could resist those faces), Les Zebras, Les Bal des Oiseaux (they just make me smile), Palio di Siena (great blues and that's a lot of orange!), Chacun fait son nid (just because it's pretty), Cannes et Pommeaux (such a lovely yellow), and Grande Tenue (my 'go everywhere' travel shawl).

Thank you Peri!
I do love this trim, and have not worn it all winter. Time to change that, maybe!
Such a lovely pink! I agree, ninakt, bright colours are the best of H!Of my scarfs , bride de cour is the one with colour.I tend to avoid strong colours, I just dont know why.
But the bright colours are the best of H.
Same here! It was on display like a painting and as soon as I saw it, I told my SA that it must come home with me. Love the way you knot it on the side, looks amazing!
Au Coeur de la Vie. This is one of my brightest and happiest scarves!!

Tohu Bohu CSGM. The colors aren't actually bright. Tohu Bohu, translated from Hebrew, means chaos and emptiness, which is what my life feels like right now. Both my parents passed away within the past ten weeks. My Dad was 96, and my Mom was 92. They were married for 70 years!! I celebrate both their lives, and I'm so lucky they were my parents!!

Now another bright and happy scarf - La Marche du Zambeze!!

My brightest scarf is Turandot. Orange (persimmon?) is honestly not the most flattering color for me, but it was the colorway I liked best in this design.
So I wear it when DH and I attend the opera, and I compensate with extra eye makeup and blusher!

I love the bright yellow in my Zenobie shawl. It reminds me of daffodils. (The daffodils are my neighbour's but she's inspired me to plant some tulips in my planter on my front porch - hopefully will have some bright colourful tulips to look at soon).

This is my very first H scarf that got me down the orange slope: Le Mors A La Conetable

HNN, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. 70 years together is truly amazing and quite the accomplishment.
This is lovely. I almost always wear an H scarf to the opera but I've yet to find my Turandot. Looks wonderful on you!
Such a cheerful colorway!
Gorgeous as always Bunny!
Thank you bunny; you look fabulous!

Such a happy collection bunnycat. Look forward to seeing your other brights!
Just arrived in the post, fresh from Paris. My Savana Dance pales into comparison alongside this bright beauty. Twins with Hermes Nuttynut on this Marche du Zambèze. I think I need to borrow Pocketbook Pup's sunglasses as it is super-bright! I love it!!!! No more new scarves now until AW. Honest. [emoji7][emoji41]

On a different note, does H no longer produce the Histoire des Carrés booklet? You know the one with the stories behind the scarf rather than just the one with the photos? I requested a copy with my order but they have sent me the one with the photos for SS17, which I already have. Shame, as the story helps make the scarf. Perhaps there aren't any stories this year. I seem to have a LOT of bright scarves!! Maybe just start with the pink family: View attachment 3678412View attachment 3678416View attachment 3678417View attachment 3678423View attachment 3678425View attachment 3678426

Zeta de Nathalie du Pasquier scarf from this season. Really enjoying the versatile colors -- great with navy, light pink, black.
These are some choice pieces, Bcat, especially the Savanna Dance twilly.
Did The Hubster choose it himself, or did you give him a gentle nudge in the correct direction?![]()

Thank you! will bookmark it and try it when I get home. Thanks grapegravity. It is the asymmetrical wrap that lovely MaiTai has demonstrated. Took me a while to figure it out and how to fuss with the silk to make it look right.

Hello twin!!!! You look so fab in pinks!
Beautiful glamour!
Thank you kindly Elaine! It was almost a surprise. I sent him the colorway info, but did not ask if he ordered it, but then a silver package came just before Valentines...and there's only ONE thing I know of that comes in those silver packages...orange boxes!
This is a beauty ninakt! Beautiful on you!
I am so sorry for your loss HNN. 70 years together is completely amazing!
Momasaurus, you look great in all shades of pink! May I ask the size of the scarf ring for the pink, black and white scarf? I would like to wear mine like yours to show off the contrast hem but mines are too small.
Thank you, bunnycat! You always look fabulous with your silks!
Thank you! will bookmark it and try it when I get home.
OK- here we go with the parade of color! I often wear a plain-ish top (light/bright or neutral/dark) and so I've found that I prefer brighter scarves most of the time. This past year has been, for me, less about new aquisitions and more about refining what I have and selling things that don't work and replacing them with what does (like Pique Fleuri replacing my b/w Peuple du Vent that looked so terrible on me).
I'll start with the eye blinder I wore today. This has got to be one of the brightest colors in my array. It is very very very yellow....like bright sunshine...Capucines mousse PM. I almost always pair it with navy....

Then there's orange shades....oh orange....
Aloha PM mousse. It's very orange!
