Twins on the Flamingo - I love that knot you made! I also adore your new Cle des Champs, and how happy it makes you! Thanks as always for the lovely introduction ABQ2ATL. It was great seeing everybody's architectural beauties last week. Alas, I only had one I could have offered but it would only have been a duplicate of litchi's Jardins d'Hiver so I sat back instead and drooled over all your wonderful offerings. I especially like when one week shows multiple cws in one design - it never ceases to amaze me how different a scarf can look when the colours change.
I do have a few I can proffer for this week though . I obviously like brights!!! Here goes.....
L to R:
Flamingo Party
PdS
Cavaliers du Caucase
And the last one is Clé des Champs.I have included this as a bright and cheery not only because of the happiness it portrays but because the colours, although not neon or vivid like my others, have a luminosity in real life that truly makes it glow. The background is a warm ivory and the gold just sings out.

Finally, although I posted it a couple of weeks ago, nothing else I have quite outshines the brightness of my Savana Dance.

Hope you all have a bright and sunny week!! [emoji274][emoji274]
This is fabulous! Thanks so much. Is this blogger someone we know? NEVER KNOWINGLY UNDERSCARVED is the best motto ever!!!Sorry to be late with this, but just a few days ago I read this blog post with mini-histories for each couple in the design: http://dblenck.blogspot.de/2014/02/les-amoureux-de-paris-happy-st.html
Thank you moma! The Flamingo knot was so simple: fold into triangle, tie at back of neck then take two "flaps" separately and tie into knot at at front. It kind of naturally goes into that shape in the photo, with the "tongues" underneath. This cw of FP is such a summery one.Twins on the Flamingo - I love that knot you made! I also adore your new Cle des Champs, and how happy it makes you!
And Savanah Dance in that CW - just drooling over its beauty!
Dear lanit, your Concours d'Etriers GM and Tohu Bohu are such delicious eye candy!
Thank you kindly bunny!Wonderful intro ABQ! Love your Marwari!

This is wonderful, Fizzy-- I wish I'd known about it before I started my search! I love how each silhouette is featured (impossible for me with only my tiny gavroche). And what a perfect post for Valentine's day --thanks for sharing!Sorry to be late with this, but just a few days ago I read this blog post with mini-histories for each couple in the design: http://dblenck.blogspot.de/2014/02/les-amoureux-de-paris-happy-st.html
Thank you FizzyWater. What a lovely blog!I've been reading through her blog, since I found it through (I think!) this post - http://dblenck.blogspot.de/2011/11/how-not-to-learn-french-lesson-4-buying.html - and I don't think she's ever referred to tPF.
Her "Hermes" tab is a charming mix of Paris travelogues and scarf love.
All of these are just fabulous on you!!23 Apr 2017 COLOR ME HAPPY: show us your BRIGHTEST scarves
When you feel that life’s just rude
A scarf can really lift your mood.
Do certain colors make you glow?
Bring you up when you feel low?
Navy and black may be in style
But brighter colors make us smile:
Trade grays and browns for cheery red --
Wear green or sunny orange instead!
What are shades that work for you?
Are they yellows, pinks, or blue?
Are some purple, green, or red?
Show us the joy inside your head!

Au Coeur de la Vie. This is one of my brightest and happiest scarves!!

Tohu Bohu CSGM. The colors aren't actually bright. Tohu Bohu, translated from Hebrew, means chaos and emptiness, which is what my life feels like right now. Both my parents passed away within the past ten weeks. My Dad was 96, and my Mom was 92. They were married for 70 years!! I celebrate both their lives, and I'm so lucky they were my parents!!
