Thanks as always for the lovely introduction ABQ2ATL. It was great seeing everybody's architectural beauties last week. Alas, I only had one I could have offered but it would only have been a duplicate of litchi's Jardins d'Hiver so I sat back instead and drooled over all your wonderful offerings. I especially like when one week shows multiple cws in one design - it never ceases to amaze me how different a scarf can look when the colours change.
I do have a few I can proffer for this week though . I obviously like brights!!! Here goes.....

L to R:

Flamingo Party
PdS
Cavaliers du Caucase
And the last one is Clé des Champs.I have included this as a bright and cheery not only because of the happiness it portrays but because the colours, although not neon or vivid like my others, have a luminosity in real life that truly makes it glow. The background is a warm ivory and the gold just sings out.

Finally, although I posted it a couple of weeks ago, nothing else I have quite outshines the brightness of my Savana Dance.

Hope you all have a bright and sunny week!! [emoji274][emoji274]
Twins on the Flamingo - I love that knot you made! I also adore your new Cle des Champs, and how happy it makes you!
And Savanah Dance in that CW - just drooling over its beauty!

Thank you moma! The Flamingo knot was so simple: fold into triangle, tie at back of neck then take two "flaps" separately and tie into knot at at front. It kind of naturally goes into that shape in the photo, with the "tongues" underneath. This cw of FP is such a summery one.
Speaking of summer, the H site is filled with oldies (the UK one anyway) and I have just ordered the coral/green cw of last year's Marche du Zambeze. That's going to be BRIGHT ! If anybody missed out on designs it might be worth a look. There are a few Plaines des Apparats, Zambezes, orange Bdg love and some beautiful Sieste au Paradis CSGMS. I know I should be saving for AW but I couldn't resist the Zambeze one for summer.

Dear lanit, your Concours d'Etriers GM and Tohu Bohu are such delicious eye candy!

Thank you dear litchi! They wre favorites of my shawls too.

Wonderful intro ABQ! Love your Marwari!
Moma! What a great show me on the different ties for this scarf
Just heavenly scarf1!
Lanit- the colors in your tohu bohu are fantastic!
Glorious colors litchi!
Thank you kindly bunny!

Beauties!! (Wait - did you not keep the ZP moussie?)

Thanks moma, yes but another is on its way to me.:hugs::hbeat:

23 Apr 2017 COLOR ME HAPPY: show us your BRIGHTEST scarves

When you feel that life’s just rude
A scarf can really lift your mood.
Do certain colors make you glow?
Bring you up when you feel low?

Navy and black may be in style
But brighter colors make us smile:
Trade grays and browns for cheery red --
Wear green or sunny orange instead!

What are shades that work for you?
Are they yellows, pinks, or blue?
Are some purple, green, or red?
Show us the joy inside your head!

90 cm silks: oranges

On the road this week, so I've limited myself to 3 fave scarves: 2 bright H and a dark Givenchy.
Current love - a very out-of-my-regular-palette brilliant Bains and a Temari which I deliberated over for some time because the purple was rather violently violet :p

Holiday shots: the dramatic H window at Changi Airport, a square watermelon at the fruit market, lilies at a hillside resort, and DS1's tea-flavoured ice cream cone topped with cute kitty-shaped biscuit

Au Coeur de la Vie. This is one of my brightest and happiest scarves!!

Tohu Bohu CSGM. The colors aren't actually bright. Tohu Bohu, translated from Hebrew, means chaos and emptiness, which is what my life feels like right now. Both my parents passed away within the past ten weeks. My Dad was 96, and my Mom was 92. They were married for 70 years!! I celebrate both their lives, and I'm so lucky they were my parents!! :hbeat::hbeat:

Now another bright and happy scarf - La Marche du Zambeze!!

I'm sorry for your loss, but what a great story about your parents.
