Thank you moma! The Flamingo knot was so simple: fold into triangle, tie at back of neck then take two "flaps" separately and tie into knot at at front. It kind of naturally goes into that shape in the photo, with the "tongues" underneath. This cw of FP is such a summery one.
Speaking of summer, the H site is filled with oldies (the UK one anyway) and I have just ordered the coral/green cw of last year's Marche du Zambeze. That's going to be BRIGHT ! If anybody missed out on designs it might be worth a look. There are a few Plaines des Apparats, Zambezes, orange Bdg love and some beautiful Sieste au Paradis CSGMS. I know I should be saving for AW but I couldn't resist the Zambeze one for summer.
Brights scarves! Yay!!! I can't wait to see some eye candy this week. Here's today: Maharani.

I've been reading through her blog, since I found it through (I think!) this post - http://dblenck.blogspot.de/2011/11/how-not-to-learn-french-lesson-4-buying.html - and I don't think she's ever referred to tPF.
Her "Hermes" tab is a charming mix of Paris travelogues and scarf love.
This is wonderful, Fizzy-- I wish I'd known about it before I started my search! I love how each silhouette is featured (impossible for me with only my tiny gavroche). And what a perfect post for Valentine's day --thanks for sharing!
On the road this week, so I've limited myself to 3 fave scarves: 2 bright H and a dark Givenchy.
Current love - a very out-of-my-regular-palette brilliant Bains and a Temari which I deliberated over for some time because the purple was rather violently violet
Holiday shots: the dramatic H window at Changi Airport, a square watermelon at the fruit market, lilies at a hillside resort, and DS1's tea-flavoured ice cream cone topped with cute kitty-shaped biscuit

Au Coeur de la Vie. This is one of my brightest and happiest scarves!! 
Tohu Bohu CSGM. The colors aren't actually bright. Tohu Bohu, translated from Hebrew, means chaos and emptiness, which is what my life feels like right now. Both my parents passed away within the past ten weeks. My Dad was 96, and my Mom was 92. They were married for 70 years!! I celebrate both their lives, and I'm so lucky they were my parents!!
Now another bright and happy scarf - La Marche du Zambeze!!
