Thank you all for your comments!

I'm trying again with Tresors Retrouves:

birkinmary Your collection is stunning , the red and white R DE Corailis one of my favourite Faivre scarves, so pretty and thanks for sharing the 'pomegranite seed' scarf , that one is amazing too .

Yummy combination with your silk shirt , the purple glows on you . Are you going to take up the silken reins of office ?

That's a confident zingy scarf , LOVE it on you . Also envious of those who can rock these colours.

Perfect match , your Galop Chromatique and necklace are made for one another ...so pretty.

Adorable on you LadyB this design and the Mer/Ciel may be the ones that bring me back to buying silks. This colourway is wow on you and Lanit , what a radiant start to Spring :sunshine:

Chestnutty Blossom time in DC never looked so pretty ! London parks are full of young couples photographing one another beneath the flowering cherries and magnolias .

Thank you, froufrou! I am so out of practice in multi-quoting. I think my response to you got lost! Anyhooooo, I know what you mean about this being a crazy buying season! I have fallen in love with so many silks! I do hope the bird one comes out soon. :smile1:

i have been out of touch due to work. Here is a cousin to DLee's CDC shawl - with a new bag I brought home to try out. More photos is Ode to Evelyne Clubhouse thread.

Today's jewels: on La Vie a Cheval.

Inspired by Chestnutty's spring blossoms!

Hello My Silky Friends! So sorry I haven't posted in such a LOOOOOONG time! The weather and pollen finally are cooperating so that I can safely wear some silks! Today's choice, ACdlV and me. BRAVO to all of you who post these amazing pictures! It is like a special gift to me to get to see your great pictures!!!! Big thanks and hugs to all of you!!!

You look like a ray of sunshine my twin! I hope your teaching is going well, though I cannot imagine one could focus on anything else but your gorgeous silks and smiles.:p

Thanks seton! I hope this one will serve me well for years to come. It seems I become more casual as I grow older.

Thank you, dear lanit! I am so glad to be your ACdlV twin and your CDC scarf twin as well!!! What is your next move?? (You know I will be right behind you...:graucho:
I love the latest pic of you in your striped top with CDC scarf. I shall use your look as inspiration with your permission!

Thank you, also, for the good wishes in teaching. My scarf wearing has only been once or twice a week since the weather has been either too rainy or too much oak pollen in the air to risk any silk wearing.

Drop dead gorgeous dear BkM! Have missed your beautiful self and photos enormously:cool:

Looking super sparkly sparkle!

Very daring beekmanhill, hope the trench kept the raindrops away from the lovely silk!

TT - you rock the earthy colors - I have not seen this Pavement colorway!

Thanks Maedi - and I love your modeling photos - you look so energized and happy in your silks!

Thanks seton - and this is such a unique colorway of L'or des Chefs. I missed out on Year of Africa. I was lucky to start my collecting during Year of India!

Erf, ms piggy, this was all my fault...But happily H issued this Au Galop! ;)

It does count, paula24jen! Love this pic, even upside down it works!

Thank you for kind words, seton. And you're right on this, a huge MERCI to Jahna, our now past year scarf-mistress, for her good job! Putting out my big girl panties, here is Kelly en Perles 140 summer twill. I don't have many jewelry-related scarves, but I think pearls could fit the bill ;) :

Anfang, This KeP just made me sigh out loud! GORGEOUS! :cloud9::love::hbeat::loveeyes::heart:

MYH, D Lee - Sorry to keep you guys waiting. Here are the steps of this cozy knot:

1) Fold the scarf into a triangle

2) Fold about 3-4 inches:

Fold another layer

3) Put on your head like a head scarf, with two ends cross in the front

4) Tie two ends behind the neck with two simple knots

5) Wrap the scarf corner around the knot done above:

6) Drop the hood down

7) turn the back to the front 180 degrees or 90 degrees, depending on which part you want to show in front of your neck. Voila!

Pros: no fold wrinkles, able to show details located at/near the center of the scarf
Cons: bulky and too cozy for warmer days.

Many thanks to Mr. Teddy Bear!

Chestnutty, Only you can make a teddy bear look so good! I hope he lets you borrow his scarf! How cute is that!

Oh my gosh!! Pegase, this cw was not released in the States or I would have pounced on it and oddly, the apricot cw was ghastly on me too. I was so excited to see it---it glows in luminosity, but ackkkk on this face. Maedi, have you tried it? It has to make someone around her glow!!

94107, you look DARLING and I love the post from an airport bathroom--like our precious Tanker Toad's posts.

nana, what a regal scarf. I admire it on evilbay often but have never seen one irl. Amazing on your gorgeous neck.

sophieg, as Pegase said, I miss your sweet smile also. Come on, drape a silk on and give us a curly smile.

Silkies, I have come over to the blue side--slowly but truly. This moussie is the first and only silk my dh has bought for me and since I have worn it (according to my spreadsheet) the most of all my silks--I declare it my work horse. (yuck--sorry about straggly hair)

OH MY WOW!!!! Sparklelisab, you NEED to wear this entire outfit every single day! BEAUTIFUL BLUE BABE! Your DH picked a winner....Well, YOU first and a close second place, the mousse!:smile1:

Lanit is the queen of stripes. Maybe for US 4th of July we should wear Scarves and Stripes!

Birkinmary - Welcome back! Your photos are such precious pieces of art!

Jewels on my sweater ;) but mostly a blue "bleu pervenche" that I'm quite fond of. I love plain colors, and was happily surprised to see the result of this knot.
Awww lilac looks great on you. Simple but nice!

Love the soft colors! You need something in Crevette/Sanguine color to complete the look, too! (*insert enabling smile*) :graucho:

Great pairing with stripes. Very chic, Lanit!

I don't have any scarves with actual jewels, but this Ballet Aquatique 70cm is definitely jewel tones. Maybe the flower leis can count as "floral" jewelry.
The colors of your scarf are indeed very jewel-toned! Amethyst and pink sapphire to be exact!

Everyone is so pretty today! Here is my jewel scarf and jewels! Dragged them out just for you all. One benefit of this forum, reminding me of the little treasures I forget about!
Great pairing and the topaz/amber color is TDF!
