lanit, D Lee, I love your jewels! dog collars and belts definitively count as jewels.
Did you know that collar and necklace both translate as collier?

Pegase, your plissé looks great on you. Surprisingly, it’s not that different from all the « chèche » men around here are wearing…

birkinmary, not only did you post 2 gorgeous Anne Faivre scarves, but you managed to take a pic of one of the monkeys ;)

seton, I’ll have to replicate the look you create with l’or des chefs, the cardigan and the necklace.

birkinmary, I love your scarf too. Just like crazyaboutshoes, I think it looks like pomegranate (now I want to buy some!)

sparklelisab, your Mexique is TDF!!! this mix of purple/lilac/gold… wow. (nice touch with the Hello Kitty ring ;) )

94107, your Galop chromatique is really lovely.

ladybaga, I’m not into yellow at all, but your ACdlV looks really great on you (and I enjoy your smile as always!)

Chestnutty, thanks for posting those great pictures. We do have flowering trees around here too, but not in my backyard :(

Thank you all for your comments!

I'm trying again with Tresors Retrouves:

birkinmary Your collection is stunning , the red and white R DE Corailis one of my favourite Faivre scarves, so pretty and thanks for sharing the 'pomegranite seed' scarf , that one is amazing too .

Oh my goodness birkinmary! These pomegranate seeds are delicious. WOW!!

Here is my jewel contribution: Mexique!!

Yummy combination with your silk shirt , the purple glows on you . Are you going to take up the silken reins of office ?

I don't have any scarves with actual jewels, but this Ballet Aquatique 70cm is definitely jewel tones. Maybe the flower leis can count as "floral" jewelry.

That's a confident zingy scarf , LOVE it on you . Also envious of those who can rock these colours.

Everyone is so pretty today! Here is my jewel scarf and jewels! Dragged them out just for you all. One benefit of this forum, reminding me of the little treasures I forget about!

Perfect match , your Galop Chromatique and necklace are made for one another ...so pretty.

Hello My Silky Friends! So sorry I haven't posted in such a LOOOOOONG time! The weather and pollen finally are cooperating so that I can safely wear some silks! Today's choice, ACdlV and me. BRAVO to all of you who post these amazing pictures! It is like a special gift to me to get to see your great pictures!!!! Big thanks and hugs to all of you!!!

Adorable on you LadyB this design and the Mer/Ciel may be the ones that bring me back to buying silks. This colourway is wow on you and Lanit , what a radiant start to Spring :sunshine:

Scarfies,
No contributions from me, too busy this month, but sending you spring wishes and some cherry blossoms from DC :-) taken last weekend. The forecast suggested that peak bloom should be this weekend.
Also some magnolias on the street last weekend and a lovely camellia back from home a few months ago.
Lovely pink! Made me want to wear pastel. Spring is finally here!

Chestnutty Blossom time in DC never looked so pretty ! London parks are full of young couples photographing one another beneath the flowering cherries and magnolias .

Jewels on my sweater ;) but mostly a blue "bleu pervenche" that I'm quite fond of. I love plain colors, and was happily surprised to see the result of this knot.

Hi everyone! I'm enjoying these past weeks by watching only. And everything you post is a treat to my eyes!!
Quick question: which colors qualify for jewel tones?

probably ruby red, emerald, sapphire blue, amethyst

Drop dead gorgeous dear BkM! Have missed your beautiful self and photos enormously:cool:

Oh my goodness birkinmary! These pomegranate seeds are delicious. WOW!!

Here is my jewel contribution: Mexique!!

Looking super sparkly sparkle!

I'm going to follow Seton with a version of the same scarf in brown. I never wear brown, but oddly this scarf suited me, and I bought it ages ago. Seton, were you in Perfect Murder or was the character in Perfect Murder wearing this scarf? I can't match Seton's tying techniques.

Very daring beekmanhill, hope the trench kept the raindrops away from the lovely silk!

Still lost in Critter week, not all my silks are in the same place. Found this and wore it last night
Pavements which does have critters.....

TT - you rock the earthy colors - I have not seen this Pavement colorway!

Some archive contributions. I parted with two of these scarves and am lamenting it a bit.

Thank you, jahna, for your wonderful stewardship of this thread and your contributions of art.

Anfang, KenP is spectacular on you and against your white IM shirt!

Pegase, WOW! This is super on you and the way you wear it with your jacket and the little beads of pink is perfection.

lanit
, what a beauty on your beauty!

Thanks Maedi - and I love your modeling photos - you look so energized and happy in your silks!

L'or des Chefs (Cheftains' Gold) from H's Year of Africa, one of my fave yrs. It's the same cw as in Perfect Murder so I wuz gonna replicate the look but I didnt have an oversized brown sweater . . . and dont intend to :shame:

Thanks seton - and this is such a unique colorway of L'or des Chefs. I missed out on Year of Africa. I was lucky to start my collecting during Year of India!

i have been out of touch due to work. Here is a cousin to DLee's CDC shawl - with a new bag I brought home to try out. More photos is Ode to Evelyne Clubhouse thread.
