I was considering your CW, scarf1, but since I got the DD in Cyclamen, that would have been two "pinkish-purplish" scarves, and I wanted more diversity. Plus, my new-to-me Point de Orgue (melora was the enabler on that one!) is also pink, purple, and green.

Nice to hear that I'm not the only one with an enabling DH, LOL!

So far, I'm not on Ban Island with scarves... just handbags. But we shall see!

Cherry blossom, twins on the absinthe TF. I am completely in love with this color of JL. I have the yellow and a dd.

Elaine, you did great! Please pass on kudos to your DH. I have an Aloha dd in cyclamen and the color is magnificent. Which were the other two scarves originally on hold, too? Did the Zebra P speak to you?

The other two scarves were Le Voyage de Pytheus, which looked too pale on me once it was knotted (though I loooooved it flat on the counter!) and Perspective Cavaliere, which is a great scarf... just not quite as great as the other two.

I really thought I was going to buy ZP! But at 5-feet-nothing, the pattern felt too large for me. Such a shame! I would have been twinsies with practically everyone on this thread! I can't remember, maedi... do you own it?

Oh, are we cousins? Not sisters? My notes say: "Same design different CW different format = sister" but I can no longer remember who created this plan! I know it was on this thread, but I do not know the author. Perhaps she will raise her hand???

Anyway, as long as you and I are in the same Hermes family, I am happy!:smile1:

They sound fabulous - I can't wait to see that color of Jungle Love. You also chose a fantastic color for MeM! It is a beautiful scarf!

Fellow silkies, the scarf faerie smiled upon me this week. I dropped by the store and they found ONE of the light blue Mors Remix that I had been kicking myself for not buying. Even though I am supposed to be on Ban Island for the forseeable future, I did not hesitate for one nanosecond before saying "I'll take it!" And I refuse to have one iota of remorse. I guess am a hardened, repeat offending, ban breaker. :sweatdrop: (I think I am twins again with Scarf1, and maybe Lanit? I just think of these cool blues and greens as her colors!)

It is an amazing scarf, florasun... I don't blame you one single bit for hopping into a little boat and rowing away from the island. Clearly, it was meant to be! The CW is subtle and strong at the same time, if that makes any sense at all (tired after a travel day) so I can see it working with so many different outfits, both dressy and casual. I love the different ways Esmerelda has tied it!
