Forget the turkey , it's a wonderful design and only you and us know Mr T is tucked in there!Feather Week - Disappearing Feathers
I used to dislike Texas Wildlife - with that UGLY bird in the middle, when laying flat.
Thank you for introducing this week theme so brilliantly, chestnutty, Robert Dallet was an incredibly talented designer and illustrator of many books on Natural Life. These are my contributions for the week, all together as I'm on travel and it's so difficult to post regularly now. I'll post pictures of the regular scarves when I'm home again. Happy Monday and happy week to you all!!!!!!

Dallet week - I just have two Dallet silks... here is the first - Equatuer a sister silk to Bkm's stunning black - they could be black and white opposites, right?
My one and only Dallet so farSorry this picture is from when I recently purchased it. I haven't had a chance to take any pictures of my own.
Sorry not on topic this week but since I got a lot of Astrologie Nouvelle love during multiples week, I thought I would share what I wore to the movies yesterday. I washed my 140 silk twills and they feel so soft now around my neck.

Today
Seton, thank you for your sweet compliments-- and I'm sorry it's taken forever to snap a better pic of the warm Maharajas for you! It's not a mod shot either, but it does show the true colors and how it looks tied. The peach color in it is bright but very flattering, and the sponge-paint affect at the border and the narrow edge of fuchsia delights me whenever I pull this one out. Love what H did with this pattern in the mousse. I wish so much they'd bring back the PMs and do more of these inventive interpretations of patterns.
Calexandre Where do you find your treasures ? This Maharajas is one of the most exquisite pieces I've seen .The changé effect towards the hem, and fuschia with peach ....
Your green Trevemousseline looks fab with that lovely coat . And the plissé is amazing too .I sold my Plissé and regret it now I see this .I need one with a bright contrast hem I think ,something els to look for on E***:
Silkies,
My refrigerator DIED. Completely needs replacing. Four Shawls.
My Heater/AC unit went out. DIED. Completely needs replacing. Six Shawls.
But I have THIS Shawl on today---first time wearing---I can live out of ice chests and wear sweat shirts, eh?

Thank youDeborah, great to see you here again!! You look adorable as always.
:kiss:Your scarf looks great on you today![]()
thank you !How pretty you look! What scarf are you wearing?
Deborah Lovely one of you in your cute gavroche ..is it H en Voyage ? You wear your gavroches with great style and now I'm inspired to get mine out today.
I'm traveling today, but here is something from the archives: mine is a slightly strange CW (pink ice?) that I like to wear with navy.

Thank you, florasun! I've made one (very quick) trip to the boutique. The SA, who was recommended to me by a tPF member, and is lovely, personable, and... most importantly... HONEST is holding (eek!) four scarves for me. I thought I was going to buy one. I may (heaven help me!) buy two.
One is a fuchsia dip dye of Jungle Love... it would be my first DD.
I have a question for anyone who has time to answer. Are the DDs easy to wear? Do they "droop" more than the regular (stiffer) silk 90cm scarves, and are therefore more shawl-like? Or can they be knotted in any number of ways, and are therefore fairly versatile?
Any and all opinions greatly appreciated!![]()

May I ask, please, what a Mors remix is? I just saw my first Mors scarf ring up close & personal in the San Francisco Hermes boutique (a Sales Associate was wearing it) and I got all excited, only to learn that they are apparently very difficult to come by. Or perhaps simply not made any more?
So is a Mors Remix a new version of the Mors, and is it possible to find? Thanks!
ETA: Nevermind... I just looked it up. Mors Remix is the name of the carré!!! You must think I'm a real idiot!![]()

So sorry to hear about your refrigerator and your heater/ac. But your shawl is gorgeous! I hope that gives you some consolation. Its been so cold here, I feel warmer already just looking at your bright warm colours of your Mexican dancers!Silkies,
