My one and only Dallet so far:graucho: Sorry this picture is from when I recently purchased it. I haven't had a chance to take any pictures of my own.

Greengoddess, this is one gorgeous Dallet! I love this cw and really, really wish I could pull of the colors. It is just so pretty!

Sorry not on topic this week but since I got a lot of Astrologie Nouvelle love during multiples week, I thought I would share what I wore to the movies yesterday. I washed my 140 silk twills and they feel so soft now around my neck.

MYH, you look fantastic here! I love the look of your AN with your vest! Great job with the perfect combination and, of course, gorgeous 140 silk too!

Mousdioufe, I am a huge fan of MeG! Such a fabulous design and love your cw! You knotted this so beautifully too!

Deborah, great to see you here again!! You look adorable as always.

Feather Week - Disappearing Feathers

I used to dislike Texas Wildlife - with that UGLY bird in the middle, when laying flat.

But someone said, oooohhhh there are those wonderful feathers around your neck if you tie it right . Totally diff design tied

At some point I finally started taking decent photos of mine, and finally settled on taking 2 views of the scarf bias folded, to show me what it looks like tied - rather than a lot of pix with diff knots

Anyway, some scarves tie differently along the 2 biases and this is one - more feathers at the neck one way, and the beautiful colored sky the other way

I usually turn my scarves so that the center is at the front of me and I get the feathers or the sky at the front

Mariatouchet, what a gorgeous, gorgeous cw! I have never seen this one before and it is extremely striking. Of course, the pink color, along with those little turquiose (or blue) stars just had me from hello!:D

Dallet week - I just have two Dallet silks... here is the first - Equatuer a sister silk to Bkm's stunning black - they could be black and white opposites, right?

Lanit, I adore how calming and serene this looks on you! I also love how your perfect shade of lipstick brings out that lovely red color in the silk!

Thank you for introducing this week theme so brilliantly, chestnutty, Robert Dallet was an incredibly talented designer and illustrator of many books on Natural Life. These are my contributions for the week, all together as I'm on travel and it's so difficult to post regularly now. I'll post pictures of the regular scarves when I'm home again. Happy Monday and happy week to you all!!!!!!

Birkinmary, perfection as always. :woohoo:

I'm going to hit the rewind button and sneak in an entry for multiples week. I just bought these chrysoprase earrings and had no scarf to pair them with. You know how that goes. And the siren call of going to the boutique was deafening to my ears so of course when I was in the area...I decided to stop by to just "have a look". The 70cm Rose de Compas is what I came back with even though it's not even from the current season! I am so weak.... The GM Compass was already sitting in my drawer so I have fallen victim to having more multiples.

I love Rose de Compas (don't have one yet) and these are gorgeous! Nice job pairing with the earrings.:loveeyes::loveeyes:

Thank you, Croisette, Scarf1, Florasun, Vitamina, Seton, and MYH for the compliments on my off-topic pink Plumes et Grelots (blame Croisette, who has every other CW!).

Yes, MYH, the jacquard is holly leaves, and those are sleigh bells, so there is a bit of a fun disconnect wearing PINK during winter holiday season. Florasun - not sure if it's minty green or sea-foam. There are about 3 different greens. Here's a pic of the jacquard and the greens.

calexandre - wow, two maharajs! do you have a pic of the warm cw anywhere here?
Both ur ROs are beautiful too.

Seton, thank you for your sweet compliments-- and I'm sorry it's taken forever to snap a better pic of the warm Maharajas for you! It's not a mod shot either, but it does show the true colors and how it looks tied. The peach color in it is bright but very flattering, and the sponge-paint affect at the border and the narrow edge of fuchsia delights me whenever I pull this one out. Love what H did with this pattern in the mousse. I wish so much they'd bring back the PMs and do more of these inventive interpretations of patterns.

By the way, like everyone else on the planet, I'm feeling faint from the beauty of your blue Tohu Bohu!

A couple Dallet pics-- the first is from today, experimenting with winterizing a rather springy La Treve de l'Eau mousseline GM; I think it would work better against an all-gray background + the gray coat. The second shot, scavenged from an older photo file, is of a Jungle Love plisse.

Now off to see what beautiful Dallets have been posted upthread! :smile1:

Absolutely love this look-- everything from the scarf to your hairstyle to the striped shirt!

Love this look! Is this a summer-weight GM twill? I have a few of those and I haven't had them long enough to have needed to wash them yet, so I'm glad to hear that that weight of silk might do well in the wash....

Feather Week - Disappearing Feathers

I used to dislike Texas Wildlife - with that UGLY bird in the middle, when laying flat.

I've never paid attention to this pattern, precisely because of that huge turkey. Well, I'm paying attention now! Gorgeous pictures that show how fabulous this is tied!

Beauties as always, BirkinMary! Thrilled to be cousins with you on La Treve. I aspire to be your twin on that Equateur....

I don't think I've ever seen this colorway of Equateur! Is this a PM or GM, Lanit? It's incredible!

Travelling today with my Jungle Love

View attachment 2809228

This is one of the most beautiful colorways of Jungle Love that I've seen. What a lovely, luxurious travel companion!

More multiples today

Cheval Turc, silks

...and that peachy Cheval Turc!!! Gorgeous!

Thank you all for your comments on my two Japon. It's indeed a rare scarf and I feel very lucky that I got them after many (MANY) hours of patient research. I've received severall PM's asking for more pictures of both scarves, here they are. If you want to see any particular detail, feel free to PM me again.
Have a great weekend everybody!
