Croisette, all your multiples are glorious, but I have to exclaim in particular over that lavender Chasse en Inde that you've shown next to its orange cousin-- is that a CSGM? I'm in awe. I've never found the right colorway of this pattern to add to my collection, but I think you've shown me what I'm looking for! I hope one day to be your twin on that one. :smile1:

Anyway, moral of the story is: WEAR ALL SCARVES!!!!!! No more pickling!
:choochoo:

This is beautiful on you-- great contrast hem!

Your scarf may be mint, but your advice is sage: I too am sometimes guilty of wearing things too little. This thread helps with that!

I had a giggle at "pickling." Perfect analogy.

Playing with le knot ***. It's almost a multiple, since Orgauphone... and Point d'orgue are the only designs with pipe organs ;)

This pattern looks great tied this way!

Fabulous, calexandre! And, after all, it is still fall!

Calexandre, this mousse is fetching on you. I like the dark green. I am still mousseline-less and love how they are shown on this thread.

Perfect for fall calexandre :smile1:

Thanks, ElainePG, Maedi, and Bova123!

Scarfies,
I'm sure I have flooded this thread in the past week or so. Hope you aren't sick of seeing my photos yet...
The other day, I wore my Jardins de Nouvelle Angleterre, which I sought for nearly two years and finally nailed it this summer.

I hadn't worn it since purchase until that day. The evening I came back home and was about to put it back to the box, right then I saw something that I never paid attention to before: some mint green overlay details! The ink is somewhat like gum on top of silk surface. Fascinating!

I have seen matte white, matte grey, and silvery overlay, but never saw mint green! And I never noticed it on the scarf until then! It's that moment that I felt horrible about my scarf buying habit. I kept buying scarves like checking off wishlist, but once I had obtained the scarf, I didn't pay enough attention that the scarves deserve. I started to wonder if I'm buying to hoard or buying to admire and use? Am I a horrible scarf owner!
