Good morning Silkies, I tried opening up the week late last night but could not load any of my pictures. This week's theme is MULTIPLES. Do you own one design in different venues? Maybe you own two of the exact same design in the exact same colorway--one to wear, one to keep pristine? Or you like to wear two together? Or you are a weirdo like me and love a design so much you buy two and can't wear them either....

And, or finally, you have to have two because choosing one is impossible, but oh, isn't four so much better? Let's see the MULTIPLES Silkies!!

This is Picture Perfection Lovely frou frou! Love the knot and wonder if magnets behind the collar would guarantee its positioning. If not, does this silk stay in place well in a draping over shoulders only?

Thank you dear SparklesLisa You are a FABULOUS scarf mistress , love Sundays for your kick off !
What a poser I am, I do sometimes tie a scarf in the Markova knot like this for a photo .
I don't do magnets , I have used this knot at the theatre or dinner .
So under a coat it would be loosely knotted , on arrival do your little end knots and it's good to go .
It stays put fairly well , at least for the first couple of glasses of bubbles :tispy:

Another Autumn scarf before the heavenly twins come forth

Les Coupés by De la Perrière 1970
Not the most subtle design but it's such a great orange .

Experimenting here with Arabesques'Chou chou two ways .

I'm way late to the party for last week's theme! I was prepping for a show and everything got away from me. Here's Phaeton for last week's blue theme. I feel a little like Phaethon when putting it on, like I could do anything!

Tomorrow I take a much needed day off, so hopefully I get to catch up again in here!

Thanks for letting me in the sandbox late! I'm off again for the last day of my bead show.

Beautiful post bunny! You can play in the sandbox anytime. You're a beader? I used to be hardcore until silk took over my life!! Do you create, sell?? So OT but how exciting!!

I'm blaming Lanit on this scarf and intended to bill her for the damage, haha. Welcome to the blue slope, Lanit! Please do stay and keep me company!

The blue shade is so gorgeous, I have a hard time believing that it's a dip dye! A blue with a pearly lavender sheen on it. The color is so gorgy that I decided to bypass my "horse nostril phobia" that I usually have with this design, LOL! And, the velvety feel is so lovely! It's a dip dye with a coloration of a twill!
Copied this knot straight from a scarf friend. Hopefully she will be twins with me on this colorway soon ;).
Looking formal with a LBR.

or casual with an ecru waffle sweater

Enabled anyone yet? scarf1 - my fellow blue scarfie where art thou?

I'm very happy with this new addition. Oh wait, I'm a blue sucker so this scarf should not be a surprising choice, ha!
LOL! Before I got to the end of the post, I was thinking, hmm maybe I should get one of these. then you called me out!
I know there a lot of marwari fans here, but I have avoided horsey scarves so far.

I would probably wear the scarf the first way you styled it, but the cowl style looks absolutely amazing on you.

So lovely and vibrant Ms. Lanit!

Beautiful Florasun--such good posture. Please tell me, is this a friendship knot? I can't quite tell but it looks fabulous.

Hi Lisa! Or should I call you Sparkle? That reminds me of Sparkle Plenty from Dick Tracy, a name I love since it sounds like a woman with lots of bling. I just used a round shawl ring and looped it through twice. You can leave the loops 'loose' and fluff them up a bit so it looks like a bow.
