Thank you, my dear!more gorgeous photos - never associated purple with Fall before until now. Thank you!
Thank you, Florasun. The border color is tangerine, which scared me a lot at first. If I anchor the scarf with a purple or hunter green blouse I feel better!I love these beautiful soft colors, Momasaurus, and I had no idea this was available in CS, which makes it even more special. It looks fabulous with your outfit. What size scarf ring are you using? Is it a MT scarf ring?
It's called the Classique Moyenne... and I use my rosewood one a lot!!! Such a useful size for holding the silk nicely tight without choking it.Thank you, Florasun. The scarf ring is one of MaiTai's middle sizes. I have 2 in this size and I forget what they are called!![]()
Amazing shawl lanit, and I love the way you are wearing itThank you everyone for the kind compliments on ZP. This scarf is quickly becoming my favorite twill currently. Pierina, Melora, florasun, sophieg, moma, bova, bkm, HofT, chestnutty, kitty, and canuck - thanks with silk hugs.
This was my first CSGM shawl from H so many moons ago. I love wearing it this way most. TGIF!
Well done ElainePG!I'm spending the weekend at a haiku conference; wearing a different one of my Japanese-themed scarves every day. (I have three; fortunately, the conference only lasts 3 days!)
In keeping with our autumn theme, here is an autumn-toned Ikebana arrangement that one of the group's members brought to the conference.
And a haiku I wrote today (the assignment was to write a haiku about birds):
crows shriek blue murder
within cypress tree branches
a hawk unruffled
Thank you, dear!
Your trip to Morocco looked amazing - and what a gorgeous pic with the mousse in the dunes. H should use it for an ad![]()
Wow, Birkinmary, you have posted so many beautiful photos I don't even know where to begin, but this one is in a class by itself. The desert is so mysterious and romantic, and you are so glamorous the H scarf is almost superfluous. But you and the background provide an elegant setting to showcase it. Love your shirt, too.
Gorgeous, birkinmary. One wants to join you in this peaceful moment...
I told you before I absolutely love this picture... and what could I possibly love more??? The fact that you are wearing a Fantaisies Mousse on top of a sand dune!!!! How Ironic....![]()
Such wonderful pictures birkinmary, I am especially in love with the pink on your Tourbillon, only Hermes can make a fall leaf motif stunning with pink!
birkinmary, you AND your scarves are looking splendid! The way you draped your Kantha casually over your white shirt dress... perfection! And that is an amazing CW of Tourbillon. Autumnal yet springlike, all at the same time!
Birkinmary, the movement in the swirls of Tourbillon is so fantastic. And then you in this white dress! Wow! Gorgeous!
Thank you, Melora. I have only recently started wearing green, so I know what you mean.![]()
A few days ago, celebrating Fall in New England with my Voyages en Etoffes! Sorry about the awkward photos I post, I just can't seem to master the "selfie" as so many of you are able to!!
Yes, cherryblossum, I'm in Madrid now but leaving tomorrow again...
Today's contribution is a quintessential autumnal scarf, Tourbillon:

Seton,
That is good info.
I bought 3 scarves in europe in May/june 2014. The one from Paris had the CW tag removed (but it was on the receipt). The two from germany (berlin and munich) had the CW tag left on just like in USA.

Urgh. The pun is the lowest form of humor, you know. And I would say you're out of "key".
(Actually, I'm just jealous I didn't think of it first!)![]()
