Posted this by mistake in the Ode to Cashmere GM thread, Texas cashmere GM. A wild turkey in a native Dogwood, Cornus florida. ;)

This is lovely Pierina! I hope you were very careful when hanging it in that tree!

Turkey in the wild! Turkey in the wild!
Let me get my gun and "Chasse" it down! ;)

LOL! Your pun was very fowl. But your CSGM is heavenly. You know I'm a CenI nut - this one is perfect.

Today's contribution is a picture I took one week ago in the Sahara Desert.

Gorgeous, birkinmary. One wants to join you in this peaceful moment...

My three "autumnal" scarves:
Sangles, tied in a messy semi-cowboy knot
La Vie au Grand Air, tied to highlight the autumn leaves on the border
Libres Comme l'Air (Plus a bonus close-up of the monkey that A.F. puts in most of her scarves. I just love the way the heron is looking at the monkey, as if to say "Where did you come from? This is a bird scarf, silly!"):smile1:

Nice choice, Elaine, and you wear them beautifully!

I love how you staged it. I don't think I would have dared ;) your tree is as nice a model as MYH's canty!

Great! I had to read it twice though, because I read it the French way, so it didn't make sense at first ;)
Love your earthy Chasse !

Wow, that's pretty lucky! 9 of my scarves were issued between 1996 and 2005, I wonder if it's possible to find anything.
The 10th is Point d'orgue, and sophieg gave me the cw name and number (I couldn't find it myself).

it will be close to impossible for most of ur carres.
2003 is when they first had tags with cws attached and i heard that european H cut off that tag when u purchased from them for a long time.

I was focusing on your joke ( or are you serious?) but I should notice your shawl is on theme perfectly! Great shawl in earthy colors!

chrryblossum - you're stylin, right down to your font! Impressive!

Thank you for your sweet words!

Here's my choice on the Zebra Pegasus - It took me forever to decide on a colorway with so many eye popping choices.

I think it is such a dramatic and wonderful design to wear and to view flat. I want to frame this one some day. More photos on the AW 2014 thread.

Oh lanit!!!! DROOOLLL!!! That looks so fabulous together!

I'll definitely be back for this week's theme as it seems I have at least a couple that may fit in! (Though nothing like lanit's gorgeous beauty!!!)

Seton,
That is good info.
I bought 3 scarves in europe in May/june 2014. The one from Paris had the CW tag removed (but it was on the receipt). The two from germany (berlin and munich) had the CW tag left on just like in USA.

What a beautiful CW of Voyage en Etoffes, dear Bova! And a great pic - I've posted way worse myself ;)
Thank you for your kind words and support of my selfie sophieg!

Beautiful, Bova123!!
My hands and arms are trembling when I take a picture of myself. I wish my arms were a little bit longer.
Me too cherryblossum, I am very vertically challenged myself...under 5 feet tall!

What a gorgeous cw!!! Love this design!!!! Gorgy selfie my dear!
Thank you for such sweet words Israeli_Flava:smile1:

Thank you everyone for the kind compliments on ZP. This scarf is quickly becoming my favorite twill currently. Pierina, Melora, florasun, sophieg, moma, bova, bkm, HofT, chestnutty, kitty, and canuck - thanks with silk hugs.

This was my first CSGM shawl from H so many moons ago. I love wearing it this way most. TGIF!

Thanks for the info.
I have the 1999-2000 fall winter booklet. It shows 4 different cws of Mythologies des hommes rouges, but even the cw # doesn't appear.

I wonder if H would agree to disclose the cw name if I asked? That would settle "the" big controversy (it's big in my mind ;) ): is my Raconte-moi le cheval blue or lilac?
