Maedi: I am thrilled to know that Mr. Boar is good luck. I am so lucky to have finally found him. And hunny, WE need to take out our Tiger scarves so we can look fab like Cherryblossum!

Lanit: your brassy blue moussie is divine---Will you be putting them away to be replaced by GMs or do you wear mousse year round?

Sparkle - you found your BOAR charm - yipee! What will your next one be? :graucho: I do wear my mousselines year round - I especially enjoy them around the holidays because they look dreamy with LBD. Let's talk again though in January to see if our temps have lowered enough for the cashmeres.

Pierina - I meant to tell you how much I enjoyed seeing your beautiful driveway (!) It made me want to leap into the scenery and I can well imagine the rest of your home and garden must be heavenly.

croisette - your beautiful autumn images and silks leap off the pages of the thread! You are tempting me with hunting for a plumes silk - should I search for mousseline or a cashmere? The ones you have are to die for.

seton - Sesame is quite a special beauty. I also see a resemblance to the Metamorphosis design. I love how the lavender pops out a bit here and there.

Here's my choice on the Zebra Pegasus - It took me forever to decide on a colorway with so many eye popping choices.

I think it is such a dramatic and wonderful design to wear and to view flat. I want to frame this one some day. More photos on the AW 2014 thread.

HOLY MOSES on a green Mountain top with Mr TR!!!!! This. Is. Amazing.

p.s. HBD and Happy travels! :balloon:

Thank you IF, I knew you were going to love it!

Wowza birkinmary! Happy B-day and I agree with IF, your new TR DD silk kimono is truly AMAZING!

Thank you Vigee, ITA with you it's amazing and so easy to wear too!

Scarfies- I am so far behind with this thread, it's embarrassing. I'll blame a crazy work travel schedule. But I wanted to take the time to thank all of you for posting fabulous eye candy! Special mention to BirkinMary's marvelous Ledoux video, Croisette's jaw-dropping collection of silks, GM and bracelets, and seton's encyclopedia-like knowledge of H!
I finally had some time to play with my silks, so here is a quick shot of my fall-colored scarves: Point d'Orgue, Coaching and L'Arbre de Vie. Although orange, the pumpkin is sadly not H...
And I've also been playing with the new knots that have so kindly been shared here and on other threads: MYH's cowl knot, and arabesques's chouchou. This is my actual SOTD, La Promenade de Platon, and I'm liking both knots with it. I need to figure out a way to make the cowl knot stay in place though!

Hi sophie! I'm also hopelessly behind in this thread, thank you for your nice comments on my video, and what a fun picture with the pumpkin!

Our friend in green. Let me share this amazing work of art by petit h, I received it some days ago as a birthday present for a dearest friend from across the pond. Thank you so much, my dear sister!

Petit h silk kimono featuring Tigre Royal dip dye:/QUOTE]

Beautiful autumn photo Bkm - and the Kimono silk - YOWZA! HAPPIEST BD WISHES BKM!!!:hugs:

The PdV mousseline has such a marvelous combo of copper and blues - could not resist bringing it out to share with you this week.

Thank you Lanit! beautiful mouse and great choice of Zebra Pegasus, it looks terrific with stripes.

Yes... ahem... well, I am paying very careful attention, birkinmary! And now I'm on the hunt for La Comedie Italienne. Very difficult to find, very expensive when I do find it. I understand why: it is an old scarf, it is jacquard, and it is stunning.

I have noticed that this scarf was produced in a variety of ways. The style I'm drawn to has the white background, but the little figures, instruments, and buildings are "filled in" with color, rather than simply outlined in black or gold. I don't know whether this is a function of the year of issue, or simply the type of CW, but this is the style I like.

I suspect I will be hunting for quite some time... this is now a HG scarf for me, and I do not want to compromise!

Hi Elaine! Comedie Italienne is a great decision, if it takes a little time to find it, it'll be even more special when you get it. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the right color.

Verry pretty on you, lanit. Aren't we just glad there's a neutral blue mousse every once in a while!
Very pretty outfit, Birkinmary. Thank you very much for taking the time to make the Ledoux scarf video. Much appreciated.

You're very welcome Chestnutty, it was a pleasure to share it with you all.

This is amazing, birkinmary! First the real épices, and then the scarf! You and I are fraternal twins on Aux Pays des Epices.

Wow, birkinmary, Belle Epoque is an amazing scarf. What beautiful workmanship. And to think that it hadn't been touched in all those years!

So glad to be your twin, Elaine, isn't it one of the most beautiful neutrals ever? Marrakech is a paradise for spices, you couldn't believe the pictures I took.
You should see Belle Epoque IRL, it's amazing!

A cucumber salad??? Honestly! Husbands! (But we love them anyway...)

Yes, husbands! But I can help thinking of cucumbers whenever I wear it! Lol

Fall colors sometimes include purple! Flora Graeca CSPM

I've always wanted to get this one and Fleurs d'Hellade, momasaurus, they are so classic and feminine, congratulations!

This is my SOTD scarf,Tatersale!
I thought the design was fun and casual , but it's rather chic and grown-up.
I tried 6 variations of tying and tucking in the jacket in a day. I think I am successful in wearing this scarf.:smile1:
