The PdV mousseline has such a marvelous combo of copper and blues - could not resist bringing it out to share with you this week.

Ooooh lanit, my friend, this looks glorious on you!!! Twins with you on this, of course! You've inspired me to pull my mousselines out now, before it's too late (snow coming this weekend....

momasaurus,Croisette, sophieg, 14H, Maedi, CanukBagLover, Bova, Thank you for the lovely compliments on my tiger!
He will see you on Dallet's week next time!!
Elaine, Thank you for your lovely and encouraging comments on my contributions!!

Scarfies- I am so far behind with this thread, it's embarrassing. I'll blame a crazy work travel schedule. But I wanted to take the time to thank all of you for posting fabulous eye candy! Special mention to BirkinMary's marvelous Ledoux video, Croisette's jaw-dropping collection of silks, GM and bracelets, and seton's encyclopedia-like knowledge of H!

I finally had some time to play with my silks, so here is a quick shot of my fall-colored scarves: Point d'Orgue, Coaching and L'Arbre de Vie. Although orange, the pumpkin is sadly not H...

And I've also been playing with the new knots that have so kindly been shared here and on other threads: MYH's cowl knot, and arabesques's chouchou. This is my actual SOTD, La Promenade de Platon, and I'm liking both knots with it. I need to figure out a way to make the cowl knot stay in place though!

Thank you for taking your time to contribute! Gorgeous "Le Knot Chou-chou"!!!

This is my SOTD scarf,Tatersale!
I thought the design was fun and casual , but it's rather chic and grown-up.
I tried 6 variations of tying and tucking in the jacket in a day. I think I am successful in wearing this scarf.:smile1:

cherryblossum, I agree you were successful! I think sometimes just a small peek of the scarf is more eye catching and intriguing than seeing the entire scarf. Are the first 2 photos tied in a cowboy knot?

So pretty Sophieg, you did a wonderful job with the new knots we are all learning!
Thank you, dear Bova! I'm still learning how to get these new knots to stay - my old standbys (cowboy, equestrian) stay put even when I run after the subway, but these not yet...

sophie - such a perfect autumnal posting - chouchou knot is indeed bringing new life to our 90 silks and such fun! I have used the knot on a couple of silks I tried on - it sure changes the perspective on how it ties!

Thank you, dear lanit! I love your PDV mousseline - the copper accents set off the blue perfectly!

How divine you look, SophieG! You've made me realize how wonderful the chouchou is with leaf/plant-motifs in scarves. They flow so well through the folds . . .

Thank you, my dear! I learn from the best ;)

The knot looked fabulous on your Mythes et Metamorphoses, so yes, it's great for busy, leafy scarves!

Oh I love this, dear momasaurus! What a glorious CW!

And thanks to your and dear birdonce's enabling, I'm now hunting for various Traite des Armes CWs to see which one might suit best (I have a rule to wear all the scarves in my collection, so I can't buy any that make me look like a ghost!)

Thank you, 14H! You are so kind!
Yes that's what I think also. And this is the way I love most.
The first two photos were tied in the same cowboy style. I didn't tie two tails together. I usually tuck each tail inside the jacket or the dress shirt. I do not need a scarf ring when I wear my scarf in this way. A peek of the border color look even more effective.

Thank you, dear cherryblossum!
Your new Tatersale is a pretty classic - I really like the contrast hem!

Thank you, dear sophieg!
