Hello HfromT, dear C! Thank you so much for the kind wishes, your guesses are right. I'm on :cloud9: with this gift for many reasons.

I can only imagine how beautiful this is on you, my friend, and isn't C the very best person to pick out H gifts?! I hope you had a wonderful birthday celebration with your lovely family :heart::heart:

Fall colors sometimes include purple! Flora Graeca CSPM

Oh..... purple is my favorite color, and green is the color completely missing
in my wardrobe. Not that I dislike it, it's just out of my comfort zone. But wow, you make me reconsider!

This is my SOTD scarf,Tatersale!
I thought the design was fun and casual , but it's rather chic and grown-up.
I tried 6 variations of tying and tucking in the jacket in a day. I think I am successful in wearing this scarf.:smile1:

Yes, cherryblossum, you were pretty successful!

Here's my choice on the Zebra Pegasus - It took me forever to decide on a colorway with so many eye popping choices.

I think it is such a dramatic and wonderful design to wear and to view flat. I want to frame this one some day. More photos on the AW 2014 thread.

What a perfect choice lanit, and so lovely with the striped shirt too!

My three "autumnal" scarves:
Sangles, tied in a messy semi-cowboy knot
La Vie au Grand Air, tied to highlight the autumn leaves on the border
Libres Comme l'Air (Plus a bonus close-up of the monkey that A.F. puts in most of her scarves. I just love the way the heron is looking at the monkey, as if to say "Where did you come from? This is a bird scarf, silly!"):smile1:

Scarfies- I am so far behind with this thread, it's embarrassing. I'll blame a crazy work travel schedule. But I wanted to take the time to thank all of you for posting fabulous eye candy! Special mention to BirkinMary's marvelous Ledoux video, Croisette's jaw-dropping collection of silks, GM and bracelets, and seton's encyclopedia-like knowledge of H!

I finally had some time to play with my silks, so here is a quick shot of my fall-colored scarves: Point d'Orgue, Coaching and L'Arbre de Vie. Although orange, the pumpkin is sadly not H...

And I've also been playing with the new knots that have so kindly been shared here and on other threads: MYH's cowl knot, and arabesques's chouchou. This is my actual SOTD, La Promenade de Platon, and I'm liking both knots with it. I need to figure out a way to make the cowl knot stay in place though!

Beautiful scarves, sophieg. If I am looking correctly, you and I are identical twins on Point d'Orgue. It is a new scarf for me, bought purely under the influence of melora's incredible thread! I hope that some day we will be twins on L'Arbre de Vie... it is on my Wish List! Your CW is gorgeous.

As for making the cowl stay in place, have you tried magnets? I've been having good luck with them.:smile1:
