Scarfies - I have been trying to upload new pics for days and keep getting a pop-up box that says Upload Fail - this is not a valid image file. Anybody else? I get the same message whether I'm on my phone or iPad. I'm taking pics with my iPhone6S like I always have? I'm so confused??
I'm having exactly the same problem, MYH. So frustrating! I'll try again tomorrow. I don't think it's our equipment... I think tPF has a little bug. Urgh.

Thanks all for your suggestions about my image upload problems. Croisette suggested I just keep trying and since I just had luck posting an image on another thread, I thought I would try my luck right now and post my autumn scarves. I think I'm supposed to be a "winter" on the color palette so have no idea why I have so many "fall" scarves. Maybe I have been buying the wrong cws all this time????yikes!

And thx Melora i restarted my phone and it seems to have helped!

Wow, MYH! A plethora of riches!

BTW, I'm a "winter" too, but I can't resist autumnal-colored scarves (a few, at least!). I'll be posting them tomorrow. I just wear more blusher and lipstick!

your flow of autumnal scarves is a rich beautiful cornucopia.

As for my Sesame scarf, yes I believe it has to do with Ali Baba. "Sesame" by itself doesn't mean much with regards to keys.

Wearing Pele Mele CSGM today.

Love the touches of purple (lilac? lavender?) against all the neutrals. And I really like the way you've put a twist into the ends to make it drape a bit "thinner." I'm the same height as your Mom, so I find GMs to be a challenge. I only own one (the original issue of Chasse en Inde) and I've only ever worn it as a sort of stole, but you, your Mom, and cherryblossum are inspiring me to get more creative.

Ha ha! I answered to MYH regarding the uploading problem, then got the message "you must login to upload" (I never log out on my phone).
Anyway, here is my Mythologies. I tried to make an imperfect basic bias fold, and the result is completely different!

You're absolutely right, melora... and the look is terrific! Thanks to this thread, and also MYH's thread on casual H scarf outfits, I'm learning to be a bit "messy" with my knots, and (like you) I'm enjoying the results. I feel as though I've bought more scarves!:p

Today I'm wearing "Traité des armes" in hunter, brown, and eggplant. Still messing around with the tie.

I am another one of those "winter" people who can't resist the olives and burnt orange colors of fall that don't bring out the absolute best in my coloring. But a black shirt solves many problems, I hope!
Nicely knotted, moma! And you're right, black does take care of many of the "season" problems.

Thanks for the love for my Cosmos, Croisette, greengoddess, seton, textilegirl, MYH, Maedi, Elaine

Elaine, my yellow scarf was folded in a rectangular accordion before making the criss cross knot. That's why it's so wavy.

Marietouchet, the Proues you showed is amazing, specially the second picture where it almost seems like a music score! Definitely worth saving :) and yours... wow!

MYH, your AN is mind-blowing, and all your knots are equally great! I can't choose ;)

Thank you for the explanation, melora. I would have been tearing my hair out, trying to replicate your look!:pullhair:
