Scarfies- I am so far behind with this thread, it's embarrassing. I'll blame a crazy work travel schedule. But I wanted to take the time to thank all of you for posting fabulous eye candy! Special mention to BirkinMary's marvelous Ledoux video, Croisette's jaw-dropping collection of silks, GM and bracelets, and seton's encyclopedia-like knowledge of H!

I finally had some time to play with my silks, so here is a quick shot of my fall-colored scarves: Point d'Orgue, Coaching and L'Arbre de Vie. Although orange, the pumpkin is sadly not H...

And I've also been playing with the new knots that have so kindly been shared here and on other threads: MYH's cowl knot, and arabesques's chouchou. This is my actual SOTD, La Promenade de Platon, and I'm liking both knots with it. I need to figure out a way to make the cowl knot stay in place though!

How divine you look, SophieG! You've made me realize how wonderful the chouchou is with leaf/plant-motifs in scarves. They flow so well through the folds . . .

sophie - such a perfect autumnal posting - chouchou knot is indeed bringing new life to our 90 silks and such fun! I have used the knot on a couple of silks I tried on - it sure changes the perspective on how it ties!

So glad you liked my clip Elaine, you should pay attention to Ledoux designs, he was a real master illustrator.

Yes... ahem... well, I am paying very careful attention, birkinmary! And now I'm on the hunt for La Comedie Italienne. Very difficult to find, very expensive when I do find it. I understand why: it is an old scarf, it is jacquard, and it is stunning.

I have noticed that this scarf was produced in a variety of ways. The style I'm drawn to has the white background, but the little figures, instruments, and buildings are "filled in" with color, rather than simply outlined in black or gold. I don't know whether this is a function of the year of issue, or simply the type of CW, but this is the style I like.

I suspect I will be hunting for quite some time... this is now a HG scarf for me, and I do not want to compromise!

Bkm - thank you for the delightful video showcasing all your Ledoux gems. No one tops those vintage silks for sure, though perhaps Croisette is close behind!

My early morning walk with pup - viewing some gorgeous fall colors in the garden on my Japanese maples. I can't wait to see my gingkos planted soon.

Fall is my favorite season. The air is crisp and the colors are simply breathtaking. Looking forward to some gorgeous silks this week!

croisette, there is quite simply no scarf that epitomizes autumn better than Casse Noisette. Where I live, the squirrels are running back and forth, forth and back, with acorns in their little mouths, getting ready for winter. They are busy, busy, busy... and so much fun to watch!

Croisette! We are fraternal twins on Aux Pays de Epices... but I must say, while I adore mine, your CW is simply spectacular!!!!! (And those Champignons are making me hungry)
