Dmitri Rybaltchenko's version of Ledoux's Springs - New Springs. Archive pics of dubious quality, but it's the only vaguely Ledoux scarf at the moment. :smile1: Should go shopping!

Hello ladies!
I have been a student this week since I had not known about great Philippe Ledoux. I cannot find any other words except gorgeous and awesome to compliment to all of you here! Thank you for your contributions, ladies!
Dear Croisette , thank you for your wonderful collection of Ledoux. It's an encyclopedia!
Thanks to dear Croisette& dear sparkle, I could find some scarves in my collection related to Ledoux; La Promenade de Longchamp, Harnais de Cour, and New Springs . New Springs is designed by Dimitri R. Is he related to Vladimir R. And Ledoux? I believe the original design is Springs of Ledoux!
Today, I wore La Promenade de Longchamp, which I bought at Faubourg-Saint-Honore H boutique 20 years ago. It used to be a plissé scarf:D, but no longer plissé :D:D

I love this look!

Off-theme, but especially for birdonce, because of Breton stripes: Quai aux Fleurs in a messy criss-cross knot with a honey-toned horn shawl ring.
I bought the scarf in 1990, so it's lovely and soft. I used to wear it with navy suits; now it's great with denim!:smile1:

Sooooo beautiful.

So sorry,I forgot to post the details

The colours on this one are divine!

I love this scarf, I have the purple/grey/black CW but this one is just so light and pretty...

Birdonce, rainneday, MYH, Greengoddess8, Kitty S, frou frou, Bova123, Croisette7, Calexandre - Thank you for your kind compliment. The scarf is indeed from the first issue. In fact, all of my Au Coeur de la Vie colorways are from the first issue, until I succumb to the temptation of the white/red colorway of the current issue.

Oh geez Pierina, look at your lip color, your jacket, your hair, your entire outfit. How could one guess you have daughters my age? Any secret of age defying to share?

momasaurus - You look very elegant in the Comedie Italienne. Congrats on your find!

this is one of my favorite blues for denim days. (Imagine if we got our scarf drawers together-- we could probably come up with a more intricate list of blues than even Pantone could imagine.)
Indeed, Calexandre! And glad we buy from two different boutiques, otherwise the blue silk section will be depleted! 'Til we meet one day .
A good news, though, is that recently I have been leaning toward the purple slope. We'll see how long that'll last.

Gosh Croisette, after admiring your collection here for a while now, I am thinking your scarf room must be bigger than my house! Lol! You also much have an amazing system to have them organized too. Would love to hear how you do it someday, since I can definitely benefit from any organizing skill training. Haha 😆

Getting compliments on a scarf knot at a store event = WIN !! Congratulations to you. I hope it was fun. :happydance::happydance::happydance:

Thank you! Although I can't take any credit for the compliments since I just replicated what I had learned from all the talented ladies here ❤️
The scarf event was fabulously fun! Someone posted that there is one coming up at the Madison store. I wonder if H is running it in several boutiques this fall. I would highly recommend going to one.

Thank you, Bova and pierina.
Nova your Promenade is such a fab color way!

Pierina, I totally agree w/Chestnutty. You look smashing in an adventurous, elegant way. Bravo to this look!

Chestnutty, your Au Coeur is a beauty. I think H did a great job with the 2014 re colorations.

Momasaurus, you wear his scarf beautifully and in a fresh way (not at all aging).

Froufrou, ha-ha, I also bought Gabrielle after Arabesques modeled it. Love your outlook on mixing things up.

Elaine, I like how you showcased the beautiful flowers on your scarf.

Croisette, another much appreciated lesson on colors for N. Wow!

Cherry blossom, I adore Promenade and like the look of the past plissés.

I found another Ledoux's design in my collection.
Here is "Jockey" in Carré géant Patch
01 marine/or. Jockey was 70cm vintage silk in 2013F/W season. I adore every cw of the vintage silk , so keep them coming!!ImageUploadedByPurseForum1414564527.596146.jpg

MetM is simply beautiful in all its colours , this one is intense and mysterious and I say 'go for it' if you're lucky enough to suit dark scarves ---it's divine.

Chestnutty You are so right to give your beautiful ivory C de la V centre stage and let us breathe in her glorious detail. Firstly, you always look youthful and a drape won't change that , and second if we must not hide that lovely silk that we obsess over [ guilty as charged !]

Delicious on you Maedi what a smooshy silk and the colours are perfect for a lovely Autumn day .

Thank you frou frou!:D

This is lovely, dear Elaine!
This is awesome design and cw, I have not seen this before! Thank you for sharing!
I am looking forward to seeing your Napoleon before Christmas. :graucho:
