How kind of you to say that lanit I did kind of banished jerseys to the back of the closet for a while but am glad to wear them again.

Re: Anfang's carre (4 70 cm sewn together), this is what I have come up with made up of scarves I already have. Not as great as yours, Anfang, but I am still working on it. The "Balles de Golf" makes the design ($500+ ? on the Hermes website).

Gaaaaaaaahhhhh Jahna !!! You hit me straight in the heart! I turn totally crazy when it comes about Quand Soudain, especially in the purple cw!!!! :love::heart::hbeat: Never got it, though, as I don't wear 70, dunno what to do with them... :sad:

Yes lanit, "Foyle's War is kind holding us hostage. I am not a TV person, but the writing is so good in that series. Sigh. "Les Toits". (I have it in blue, too, and I WILL model this week! [Yup, I say that all the time, but I'm gonna do it].) Reminds me of my apartment so many years ago overlooking the "Place de la Contrascarp" off of the Rue Moufftarde. Ah to be young again and not have "turkey neck" (among other reasons why being young is so desirable :lolots: ). Haven't prowled the men's silk yet; do I dare?

Ms Piggy, I like that "Mors" a LOT. Maybe it is wishing for Spring, but white and off-white are very appealing at the moment. Setting it off with the red scarf ring makes for such a sophisticated look.

Pegase, you made me chuckle: I never noticed the Tiger had a beard TOO... I miss it when you don't show the whole look, you are such a handsome dude... WE LOVE OUR MEN HERE!! Where are the others??? ...and CRAP!! You would show "Au Coeur de la Vie". Now I am depressed again!:sick: I need one of those, drat!! Taxes are such a bummer....

Chestnutty, I love your animal contributions. Beautiful, every one of them! "Leila" is wonderful - not for me, but I do think the design is sublime.

I guess it's part of being human ;) I banned myself from the spring 2014 scarves thread, because I can't afford to buy one, and once the collection hit the stores, I felt jealous instead of being happy admiring the designs (shame on me!)

I have this, in purple colour way, saving for animals in motion week. It really surprises me how much it goes with, considering it contains quite specific colours

What is the problem with 70? I would have thought it would the same as 90, except a bit short when knotted?

Hey Melora, I am really kidding lovingly about "show-offs"! I adore this thread and seeing everyone and their gorgeous scarves. More often than not, my twin step-daughters talk me out of a scarf as soon as I get it anyway, and once I photograph a scarf I happily pass it on. 3 granddaughters help cull the collection too. Being pretty much a New Yorker at heart (think an all-black wardrobe) I tend to wear the same few scarves ALL THE TIME (will be trotting them out this week).

As for the 70CM, so easy to wear cowboy-style.

There's nothing wrong at all with 70's, but of course you are a bit more limited with the knots you can create, because necessarily the length across the bias is smaller. I actually like them, they feel less "bulky" around the neck but it's personal preference.

Yes Jahna, you have to get wet for swimming and this is so good! I cannot stay far from the sea, at least far from my swimmingpool, I'm water-addict! I probably have been some kind of fish in à former life!😄

And as for 70, I cannot deal with tying them, they always look like kinda rat tail 😞 I own only one, a DD CLF. I was gifted with this one at Around Men event in 2012. And I use it... to close my bb Mangeoire, go figure...

Awww, Melora darling, I feel sorry for you hearing this! Things will go better for you, I'm sure of this! We all know a lot about these hard times! :hugs:
