Thank you kindly my dear Padzemika, AnFang,DLee and scarf1. DLee, I am sorry to have missed your reveal. I am sure no regrets are in order as you have amassed a marvelous collection. Which ones did you leap for?

Paula, you are right. Your little crane does have a ' come higher' look. So chic the way you wear it today.

Ah, chestnut my friend. I have a hard time advising on this as you well know, I am weak when it comes to white silks. All I can say is double up on the silk LeBlanc wash dear. And you have the marvelous Special collector Leila twill already, do you need a CS GM version as well?
Thank you Lanit!

No, lanit, u didn't miss my reveal since I haven't worn them since purchase. The temp hangs around 25 degrees Celcius now & I am putting them away for fall. I just got a CDC & a Della Cavalleria. Love them!

Ooh, would love to see pics of the Della! Great designs to have for fall.

I wanted to share too. Sorry I dont have a mod shot for you. This is an older picture, but since this one is not often seen on PF I wanted to show it off before critter week ends!

Oh I just love this! Thanks for sharing, dear cobaltblu! I used to dog sit a wired haired dachshund (aptly) named Lucifer - I loved him to bits! And yes, he he completely owned me...

And going on running to catch up, I finally could snap some critters to fill the week's theme! :doggie: Here are some details of Chasses Exotiques, and L'Intrus. Sorry about the creases, but pfffui, just in time! :D
Love the birds, dear Anfang!

Finally - the blips of the computer were a bit nutty this morning. I think it is the flickering power lines. Here we go - finally my Licorne shawl came in yesterday. The Dresden blue look of this shawl sings so well to my love of white and denim. So glad I waited for this design to come out in a 140 GM. It was a tough choice between the Leila and this one, but the unicorns won out. Here with AF's signature critter too.

AnFang - I can always count on your being my silk cheerleader; hopefully you will have seen all the colorways of the Licorne shawl! I am guessing a ton more must be on their way to the US soon as the season is rapidly flying by.
Thank you for your kind words, dearest Lanit! I did think of you when planningour honeymoon - we're off to Venice next month

And what a beautiful Licorne shawl - so different from the super bright 90s that came out originally!

Just sneaking under the wire for critters week: in my mind one of the birds is being coy and playing hard to get, looking back at the other with a "come hither" expression. It seems I can only upload I've at a time, more caraibes to follow
Love the green and blue birds, dear paulajen! Thanks for sharing!

Niko, your kitty is precious and my favorite color is Saffron. Love him!!

I must share just a few more pics WITH silk Ms. Jahna. Here is my newest kid, Miss Zoey. She is only a few hours old and Peanut, my Twilly wearing love, is her mommy! Phoenix, my wolf/malamute pooch would not leave the baby and kept licking her clean. So sweet.

Belated birthday wishes, my dear Lisa! and congrats on your new additions - I am the consummate city girl and can't imagine playing midwife to goats like you do. I'm so impressed!

Scarfies,
As you all knew I hunted a Jardin de Leila coffret back in January during my trip to FSH. I was seriously debating between the blue colorway and another colorway, ended up with the blue because I love the porcelain vibe. But with my hoarding habit, you know that ain't stay for long. With H, when in doubt, buy BOTH. So here's what I hunted down to complete my greed.
Jardin de Leila coffret with its matching scarf in cw 14 Blanc/Vert/Brun (which has a lot of hunter green and fungi green along with multitude of browns).

Some modeling pics:

I have recently discovered a new way to wear my 90cm in a shawl-like way. This has become my to-go knot on days that I am deceived by the sun and walk out of the house without being armed with cashmere, hah.

In addition, of course I won't miss out this Animal theme week! Here are my contributions:
Tigre Royal shawl. One of the only two shawls in naturel color in my collection. Naturel unfortunately doesn't complement my complexion well, but when mixed with blue, I may be able to work it out somehow. Sisters with Lisa! The palm leaves that I dislike, however is quite elegant in this fluid format, I think.

OK King of Jungle wants to stare at ya'll:

Finally I gave in to the Mythiques Phoenix as well.

and from my archive, its mini cousin pochette

I also posted more modeling pics off this gorgeous pochette here:

Oh my, I don't want to leave "Critter" week... but... tomorrow is the beginning of the LAST week of this year:

30 March The Staples: Scarves that you wear the most often/workhorse scarves

Now folks, I will be the first to admit that I live in my favorite T-shirts (partly because we are re-doing my closet and I can't find ANYTHING!) and I am also lazy. However if these horses can do it:

"Cuivreres" (thanks for the photo HSCI- I have it but too rainy to photograph today)

I am going to try to wear some this week. I would mos def wear "Cheval Surprise"

ChevalSurprise_6inches_zps7dda71ae.jpg

or one of my very favorite scarves, "Les Toits de Paris" (off to make popcorn, more tomorrow)

and watch "Foyle's War". Maybe the light will be better for photos tomorrow...

Thanks, dear D Lee! This is the gavroche (pochette), so all I can show usually are the feathers and the tail - but now you've given me a challenge to show the whole bird!
Yes sophie! Pls show us if u have figured out a way to show more of the phoenix. Every time I am in H, I stare at the phoenix if it is in the display case. I refuse to buy it if I can only show the feathers when tied. :nogood:
