Thank you, dear Vitamina H! It was hard to capure the true color of my DD. It is blue green.
Your scarves contributed seem very familiar to me! Thank you for sharing!:D::D:

What a fascinating scarf, momasaurus! I've never seen it before. Is it a recent release, or an "oldie but goodie"?
Thanks, Elaine. It's from 1951! I don't think there were reissues. I hunted quite a long time for this one on the 'Bay. It comes along now and then in this or other CWs.

We talked about it here a while back (maybe I posted it during green week), noting that it has the most gigantic border of any scarf ever! lol. Anyway, the corners and the detailed drawings are so adorable.

Oh my goodness! I'm your cousin on Carré En Carré DD!!! You are right, dear moma! How absentminded I am! I should mind my own bussiness! :p:
Since my Carré En Carré dip dye has been assigned to another duty, :giggles:today, I contribute Concours d'Étriers 140cm carré géant Sur teint. 08 bleu canard/vert/prune

Oh so gorgeous, cherryblossum!!! By the way, cousin, which CW of carré en carré did you forget about? :giggles::giggles::giggles:

Here's my small collection (2!) of Charmante aux Animaux scarves, which I posted pix of last week tied together.

As you can see, it's not at all obvious that combining them would be so stunning.

Cherryblossum, which is your cw? It would be fun to see which one might work with it!

OMG,I'm thinking of You!
Please sugest which charmante works well with mine! I have cw 10,chocolat/vieil or/prune.
It has some pink,so I'll contribute it next week!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful collection musicmom!

Wow, extrafashion... this carré is incredible! It looks magnificent on you, and the CW you selected shows up the design to perfect advantage.

I just looked it up on the Hermès site and saw (sigh) that it only comes in the 140cm size. Or at least, that's the only size I was able to find. At 5' nothing (on a good day:giggles:) that's simply too much scarf for me!

Do you happen to know if they have ever issued this scarf in the standard 90cm size? I'd buy it in a heartbeat! I'm in love!

Elaine, they issued this in a 90 cashmere/silk and a silk. I think I spied a 90 at my local boutique on a recent trip. I will enquire for you.

Casques coiffes - I love! Thanks for posting. I have never seen this one before. Croisette - do you know how many scarves you have in your collex? Have you ever counted? How long have you been collecting. I am just in awe. You have great taste and style. Sorry for gushing but I look forward to your pics every week. :woohoo:
MYH, thank you so much for your interest. No, I have never counted, collecting is my passion, approx.
since 20 years.

cherryblossum - this looks so elegant on you. Very tempted to find a twin to yours.:graucho:

Silkies - so many pages to catch up on! This is definitely one of my favorite theme weeks! My contribution for the day...

Love my seashells - Rocaille and Rocaille II - I feel positively greedy having both in blues but they do 'read' very different. One is more periwinkle/lavender and the other more steel blues and warm browns. I have been paying attention LadyB and Maedi! Brown is featured in my fall wardrobe as well as midnight blue.
Beautiful lanit, esp. with your still life!

Ladybaga, I thought those dang kids had eaten you alive. I am SO HAPPY to see your gorgeous self--all in orange no doubt. :smooch:

Love your Spice scarf. You wear it so elegantly.

Oh cherryblossum, I too love my boats but do not have this cw. Stunning dear.

Croisette, falling over your collection, A G A I N.

MYH: I giggled and then gasped at your Picos! Love the sights. Thanks hun!!
Thank you, dear sparkle!
