:wave:Hi Silkies! Thank you all so much for the amazing contributions here last week, as well as those thus far this week! There are so many amazingly creative and talented ladies and gents on this thread! I love seeing all the possibilities one can come up with, and of course my wish list grows longer each time I visit this forum! ha! :graucho::heart:

Here are a few collection contributions from lil ol' me. I love how much adoration the Bateaux receives here! It is a favorite of mine too. I can't recall seeing Les Courses yet, but I adore this one and it is so easy for me to wear. I also noticed it is a mini carre inside the CMSC!! Cute, huh! :smile1:

1. Cheval Sur Mon Carre
2. Les Courses
3. Tous les Bateaux du Monde
4. Voyage en Etoffes
5. Colliers de Chiens
6. Les Trophees

This is a jaw-dropping (or eye-popping!) collection, Vitamina H! Bateaux is definitely going on my (ever-lengthening, sigh) wish list!

Momasaurus, if memory serves me correctly, you had asked that I share my green cw of Echec au Roi flat. Here she is! Actually, I guess it can also fit this weeks theme as a 'collection of chess pieces'.:smile1: Sorry for being so late, my dear!
OMG, is that a different color on each edge???? So fabulous. On the wish list!!!!!! Thank you!:love::love:

I can't quote again! Uhh!

Momasaurus, my dear you know how much I love this DD! It looks so amazing on you!! This one is a must have for me. I say this every time I see yours! :p
MYH, oh I love your pictures! What a pretty collection of silks and enamels you have and I love your Picotins too! I have two myself and find this to be such a functional and fun bag! I love, love, love your orange Pico!
Lanit, what artful pictures you have shared. They are so pretty! Your mousseline is one of the most stunning moussies I have ever seen! It is so perfect on you!
ElainePG, I just love how you knotted your LRdH! What a gorgeous silk.
Arabesques, I have to share my deepest thanks and gratitude for your amazing pictures! You have the most amazing Marwari collection and you capture the color so beautifully! I am trying to decided between your blue and green cw DD (and waiting on the purple CSGM). I hope to see both very soon! You wear each one you have perfectly! Thank you for taking the time to share these!!
Maedi, I love your MS gavaroche and the DD is just precious! You look beautiful in pinks!
ExtraFashion, you look great in Folklore!
LisaB, I love your CSGM Voyage en Etoffes! The cw is just gorgeous on you! Great intro this week too!!:smile1:

Thank you so much!:smile1:

I love the maxi-twillies arabesques!

And Vitamina H- oo la la!!! Marvelous!

I didn't do the stipe shirt today, but maybe tomorrow and here is my (so far) one carre' scarf- Brides de Gala (a collection of 2 is still a collection, yes?).

1st attempt at tying a square scarf.....tomorrow, I'll try something else...

bunnycat, you did a wonderful job with your knot! I love that you managed to have "Brides" right in the front... did you "fiddle" until it came out that way, was it all part of your brilliant plan, or was it luck?:p

Can't wait to see tomorrow's knot!

And, yes.. a collection of two is a collection! (Because I say so... that's why!;))

Thanks, ElainePG! Luckily for me I didn't have to choose: Evilbay showed me the red one first, and I fell in love! A few months later, Evilbay showed me the blue one... I am SO glad that I got both! Maybe there's even a third in my future. :cray:

That's a great story, musicmom! It will be fun to see which CW you pick next... do you have one in mind?:amuse:

Part luck and part fiddling! How's that? :p

Today I wore Traité des armes, but did not get a very good action shot. It's a collection of swords in the center, surrounded by a collection of fencing postures and movements!

I LOVE this design. Several other CWs would also make me happy! :graucho::graucho::graucho:

What a fascinating scarf, momasaurus! I've never seen it before. Is it a recent release, or an "oldie but goodie"?

Elaine, that sounds like a very interesting and also demanding field. Did you enjoy your work? Folklore did come out in a 90 cm carré (just ask Ladybaga :p:p)

Arabesques, those are lovely Maxi Twillys. The colors are vibrant and you wear them beautifully. On me, they are not such a hit.

Sparkle, you look gorgeous and I am jealous on your Jigé. I am with you on the Maxi Twillys. They are okay for me but H has better options for me. I don't like the material that much either, however, they do look great on others.

Vitamina, your scarves are so pretty.

Cherryblossom, thank you.

OH VITAMINA H - What a beautiful scarves for this weeks theme! The fuchsia Voyage en etoffes is the one from the new FW 14 collection?? Soooooo in love with it..please could you share the exact color reference on the tag? The background is true fuchsia or Rose Vif? TIA AND CONGRATS !

Cherryblossum, I love your cw of Bateaux! I am so happy you brought this special one out of its orange box! You and I are cousins on quite a lot of silks! I also have to tell you, I am so impressed with what you showed last week. I love the two silks that you sewed together. You have a great eye for color! :woohoo:

Thank you.dear VitaminaH ! I wore my "new" stole with confidence today, after I read your coment in the morning!:D:

Do you have any dipdyes, cherryblossum? I'm sure you do....they are so soft and comfortably luxurious!

Oh my goodness! I'm your cousin on Carré En Carré DD!!! You are right, dear moma! How absentminded I am! I should mind my own bussiness! :p:
Since my Carré En Carré dip dye has been assigned to another duty, :giggles:today, I contribute Concours d'Étriers 140cm carré géant Sur teint. 08 bleu canard/vert/prune

Spinkapallina, thank you so much! Yes, the VeE is from the Fall collection. It is so hard to capture the colors in this one..for me anyway! I need to take a modeling photo outside, in direct sunlight, but need DH to help me with that! Here is the color reference for you: Rose Indien/Vert/Violet. I tried to match up one of my other scarves that has a very similar shade to the pink. I pulled out Mors et G in cw 07. I checked the color reference and it is Rose VIF! You have a great eye for pink cws!! :smile1: I think you would love this cw! The colors of the kimonos are fantastic. I can see, from your lovely avatar, that you like pink as much as me!! Let me know if you get it!! :D

Of course! I was a professor as part of career #3, when I was an advocate for victims of domestic abuse. I was not a counselor or therapist; I was a writer & public speaker. And a professor at a School of Medicine, where I taught faculty how to screen their patients, and what to do if they discovered that one of their patients was in an abusive relationship. (I also travelled to many other med schools, nursing schools, schools of social work, etc. teaching the same thing).
Great to know,dear ElainePG!
