Pretty combination! Thank you for sharingThis is going to be a fun week! Here are a couple of photos of two scarves braided together, one with a tail and one with tail braided away.
The two scarves are Le Promenade de Longchamps and Ferronnerie.
This look is very stunning !! I love this color combination and the ways you tie them!I have been MIA but wanted to contribute for this weeks theme. I also wanted to mention that although we have theme weeks, I hope it is not discouraging people from posting their regular silks and love of their silks. The original thread is WHAT SCARF,ETC. ARE YOU WEARING TODAY? The theme weeks were developed to have some added fun, and it would be a shame for us all to miss out on vintage or newly acquired silks and the carefree and stylish silks that we all can enjoy, theme or no.
I recently acquired a lovely Parures silk and wanted to share it with you all. Then dug in my scarf drawer for something that might work for theme week. Hope everyone has a great week.
Beautiful CW! It's so exquisite! Thank you for sharingMy belated contribution to the last week theme :
Wow the combo looks fabulous on you! I adore this color combo. Brides de Gala is versatile scarf and goes well with any scarves! Thank you for sharing! This is also from the archives. Two vintage oldies: Reprise and Brides de Gala combined. Both are very soft due to their age.
I don't keep these origami sheets any more. You can see them if you search "Hermes Origami" by google. Origami Horse folded with La Rose des Vents is very stunning!Oh, really? Origami paper sheets with H designs? This is so wonderful!!! Please tell us more.
Thank you, Anfangcherryblossum, I adore this pic! You made my day!
Perfect match!Thank you, Maedi--they really are colored very similarly! Which CW of the PromDeLong do you have? It's a great scarf!
P.S. Sorry for the boots. Archival pic!
Elegant combination and nice tie! I need to learn this "tail" from now on!Thanks to rosamonde for the idea of the "tail." Mine is longer, because I wanted the clock to show, but I think it would be difficult to wear for more than the five minutes it took me to take photographs!Rosamonde's braiding is also much better than mine... I'm sure hers would last all day. (How do you create a braid with only two scarves? I only know how to braid with three.)
This is Quai aux Fleurs twisted loosely with La Ronde des Heures. I've had La Ronde since 1986 and Quai since 1991, so they are both very soft and easy to work with.
Oh my goodness - a new obsession! Thank you!I don't keep these origami sheets any more. You can see them if you search "Hermes Origami" by google. Origami Horse folded with La Rose des Vents is very stunning!
This is a fantastic pairing! I love the casual yet intriguing look! Thank you for sharing, cherryblossum.Dear fellow tPFer's,
lanit is right. We need not always to be bound by the theme. What scarf are you wearing today?
From my outfit last week.

^ I combined two scarves sewing each end together by hand stich.
I found the blog of a French lady, in which the combined stole of Courbettes et Cabrioles & Brides de Gala was introduced.
I do not recommend this way to people who do not want to damage their silks. I do not either. But her stole was incredibly beatiful and the idea of combining two different scarves touched my heart. Since then, I've been obsessed with selecting two silk twills to make my original stole.I made one stole a few years ago and fortunately the stole had a good reputation. I took the first stole apart, fortunately each scarf is still active , almost without major damages. I newly made two stoles for coming season.
Here is the second stole.

One from the archives - and favorite two silks - red and white pegasus.
