When you suddenly realize your sheath dress is too low cut to be work appropriate, what would you do? Of course it's always helpful to have a back-up scarf in your bag .

I was thinking same thing VesperSparrow. It's all about the SHADE of green. I am so excited about wearing and showing my new green scarf I can hardly stand it. If I sweat like a heathen, gosh dang it, I am going to wear a green scarf tomorrow!!

I am dying for this original issue au cour de vie. I saw it IRL at the Metiers exhibit, but it was NFS. IMHO it is THE colorway to have for this scarf.

Florasun - thank you for your sweet compliments. The last shawl is the Licorne CSGM. I pawed at the same silk at the Metier exhibit and am GREEN with envy at seton's beautiful ACdlV.

seton - your green beauties stand the test of time - I do agree with the love/hate relationship with greens. It is best for me to wear with violet, blues, pink and corals at times to offset the green to complement the cool undertones in my skin complexion. I giggled seeing the coat dress - so classic and now on trend again. Very Mad Men (or Madames).

I also wanted to add, if this is Fleurs Indiennes then we are twins! That is another scarf I wish I could have afforded in multiple colorways. <sigh>

Croisette, I am longing for the Comedie Italienne!!! The CWs all look so different in pix - I have never seen one IRL - and I don't know which colours I would prefer.

Maybe someone here has the GREEN one to post?

I have the green Comedie Italienne, I believe it could have been from the first issue, based on the screen quality.

scarf 2 is Ludovicus Magnus - see below
scarf 5 is Coeur de la vie (original issue)

The green border of Coeur de la Vie is TDF, Seton!

Love seeing everyone's green scarves - I've always been afraid of green - its a tricky colour for me and most shades don't work (just make me look ill) - but seeing all these wonderful scarves has given me inspiration and courage to try to add a green scarf to my wardrobe.

CanuckBagLover - Sweets, perhaps you should try shades of green that are not too yellow-based, I'd say some blue-based shade of green would be flattering to many skin tones I've seen.
My favorite shades of green are vert d'eau (springwater green - a fresh light green) and vert amande (almond green - a powdery sweet green).

momasaurus, I own the Comedie in these 3 cw. They are purchased from ebay, expensive and not in good condition, but rare.
If you go hunting for that, IMO the best cw is a bright green one, extremely rare.



the last pic with the olive green curtain has a dark brown border, not green!

Hey there my silkie friends, I just enjoyed 20 pages and LOVED everything I saw. It is still so miserably HOT in California; I put a silk twill on this morning and it didn't even make it out the door.
