Scarf of the Day (Themes on page 1)

I am dying for this original issue au cour de vie. I saw it IRL at the Metiers exhibit, but it was NFS. IMHO it is THE colorway to have for this scarf.

scarf 1 is Carnaval de Venise
scarf 2 is Ludovicus Magnus - see below
scarf 5 is Coeur de la vie (original issue)

Croisette - amazing display of all shades of greens. Like Flora, the green Arbre Vie quite took my breath away.

Hey there my silkie friends, I just enjoyed 20 pages and LOVED everything I saw. It is still so miserably HOT in California; I put a silk twill on this morning and it didn't even make it out the door.

Just a few comments:

Florasun--your green turtle scarf is something special. Wow!
Croisette7 and Cherryblossum, your jerseys are divine. I only own one and am afraid to wear her.
Scarf1, I adore the Ailes de Soie this season and must be your cousin soon. Lovely collection dear.

Thank you, Rosamonde. I I think I also love those 2 the most of these, but those fencing guys are so attractive too! Traite des armes is a scarf I would love in other CWs. There are even 2 more green CWs!!!

I am a sucker for those historical scarves with little historical people on them! Perhaps a Traite will find its way to me one of these days too, and then we can be twins.

Momasaurus! What is the name of the third scarf, with the fencers? My older son has just taken up fencing, and that completely mandates that I find this scarf! Thanks.

I'm not really into green so I don't have a scarf in that colorway. I don't even have any green piece of clothing however, I found some patches of green on Les Mythologies des Hommes Rouges, on Fêtes vénitiennes, and on Orgauphones...

(sorry I don't comment, I'm so busy adjusting to my new life that I don't even find time to look at all your treasures. And I'm sure I missed quite a few ) (at least, nothing's being added to my wishlist )

OHHHHHH, lovely Fetes. And just enough green!! You all know by now that I am obsessed with this design and only have one CW so far. This pink and green is really fabulous! Also love the Orgauphone colours. Congrats!

Ah, lovely birdonce, that is "Traite des armes" by Hugo Grygkar from 1951. He has something like 100 H designs, mostly historical and very lovely IMHO. This one has various fencing moves and positions, with their French terms. Your son's new sport definitely requires a new scarf for Mom!
