What a feast, these designs are great, H never ceases to surprise me! Through searching for them I inadvertently found an incredible textile designer that I'm instantly besotted by. Her work reminds me of an H window by Leila Menchari...DH is shaking his head, a new obsession born
Want to tell more about the textile designer?

Cavalcadour,jacquard
I happened to purchase my own from this season.
My first one! My SA tied with my new zebra so nicely.I have not succeed in tying these two like she did yet but I want to share the beautiful combination of them.I am going to study under Mai tai. Cavalcadour ,itself, is beautiful too.

Time for Abadie: plumes et grelots (feathers and sleigh bells) - not exactly seasonal!

My CW features a wonderfully weird acid green accents (I love when H includes a bizarre element) and holly berry jacquard.

My other Abadie is Hommage à Mozart :

A super complex design that offers real challenges for tying and highlighting various elements.

Moma, thank you for all the fabulous posts. I adore when someone wears the same scarf on different backgrounds. For example, your pink scarf, to me is stunning on the navy sweater and nice on grey, but love the navy. Nice nice.

Silkies, do you notice all the CHATTERING, but few PICS? Is it 108 degrees everywhere??? Dying of heat. Hate the drought. Does anyone know a good Rain Dance?

Oh what a perfect match!
Was it one knot or two? You need to ask your SA to show you how to replicate it ;)

Thanks, cherryblossum. Today my fingernails are the exact shade of weird green in the Plumes!

Thank you, sparkle. I am somewhat challenged by the winter theme of Plumes et Grelots with the springy pink colours. It feels too "ironic" to wear sleighs when it's not snowing, although I have done that. I wore it this morning around the house to take the pix and cracked myself up! :lolots::lolots::lolots:

One interesting medieval scarf is A la gloire de Guilliaume (William the Conqueror), a sort of Bayeux Tapestry homage. But there is actually a Tapisserie de Bayeux listed that is quite mysterious. There's a scarf called Le Moyen Age (The Middle Ages), but the architecture looks more Tudor.

Chocs en Plumes has a bunch of knights on horseback, with striped backgrounds, which is more interesting than the solitary knight in Les Muserolles. There's a fabulous Mont Sanct Michel scarf that is really hard to find.

The Three Musketeers is not exactly medieval but has some cool artwork. La vie a cheval and Armeria are medieval themed, and Termes de Venerie shows a medieval stag hunt in really cool rosettes.

Rosamonde might know more about these.
