Twins with everyone? I don't think so, my Dear. I hope you will find a Trophees someday, maybe onCroisette! We are twins. I have the turquoise Brandebourgs as well. But of course your collection is so amazingly gorgeously large, you are probably scarf twins with EVERYONE! [swooning]![]()
here are my 2 scarves for this week:
Mors et Gourmettes REmix
I love how different these are. In one, the background recedes, and you see the bits.
In the softer coors, the bits disappear and you see all the H's in the background.
I got the bright one first, then later the softer CW. DH didn't believe me at first when I said it was the same design!
Oh lanit, what a beautiful cotton! I have never seen this one before, and the colours are great!i have so few of Abadie's designs but here is a favorite cotton scarf that brings memories of archery outings with my father and sisters. The bow featured in this scarf looks just like his bow and the red tipped arrows! Arc en Ciel cotton 70 cm.
Thank you! I agree Mors et Gourmettes looks complete different in every colourway and I think that's how I ended up with 3 - probably would have picked up more more if my walllet would have allowed itHummm! Am really enjoying how the Mors et Gourmettes Remix looks like a completely different scarf in practically EVERY colorway! Beautiful Instructions du Roy as well.
Aw, who am I kidding...they're ALL gorgeous.![]()
CanuckBagLover Your shawls I de Roi are so elegant . Can't keep the designer's name in my head ...D'Origny is one of the old school who translate to modern colours so beautifully.
They do - but probably does show in the pictures. ThanksLovely! I adore L'Instruction du Roi. Do the shawls have a contrast hem?? I am going to faint!

Scarfies,
I have been busy recently due to relocation to a new city, i.e. from a mousseline climate to a cashmere silk climate. And here I have a mirror/lighting crisis and am unable to contribute mod pics.
Since this week's theme also include Julie Abadie, I'd like to showcase my two favorite scarves by her:
Ciels Byzantins (Byzantins Skies) in the only color that doesn't have gold hence suits me to a T. The colorway is so fresh and the details are pretty! I love the charm piece in the center the most!
As you can see: the jacquard on the scarf features peacock! And the matte white overlay in the details can't be missed as well
I also have a pic of a mosaic wall mural that resembles the design greatly:

And... some mod pic from the archive:

And my favorite travel silk is Coaching worn here with my Galop necklace.
Love the mystery rotation idea, but I understand the anxiety. I also feel I neglect some of my scarves. But isn't this thread supposed to make us wear some of those pieces we've almost forgotten about? (except during a hot summer!)![]()
Thank you Ladybaga. I kept my regular scarves in three chests of drawers organized by colors, which is always tricky (where to store a Tohu-Bohu in any color way, lol!) for most of my designs. One of the chests is only for my most loved ones and another one only for Ledoux Grygkar and really vintage ones, that I rarely wear. In the mornings I decide which color to wear and open the drawer, that's all! I always choose what to wear depending on which scarf draws my attention.![]()
