frou frou - so great to see you back! Love both scarves on you dear!

rosamonde - That's great to hear I have a scarf twin here! Let's do mod pics of the same scarf together sometimes! It will be fun!

Chestnutty thankyou , and my admiration for your peacock scarf [ is it Ciels Byzantins??} and the fabulous eyelet [ yes I've already admitted i'm in love with eyelet ] worn CCàPois style , are both amazing .

here are my 2 scarves for this week:
Mors et Gourmettes REmix
I love how different these are. In one, the background recedes, and you see the bits.
In the softer coors, the bits disappear and you see all the H's in the background.

I got the bright one first, then later the softer CW. DH didn't believe me at first when I said it was the same design!

Both these are lovely and as you say almost impossible to see it's the same design .
The pale one is like Delft china , so delicate .

Scarfies,
I have been busy recently due to relocation to a new city, i.e. from a mousseline climate to a cashmere silk climate. And here I have a mirror/lighting crisis and am unable to contribute mod pics :sweatdrop:.

Since this week's theme also include Julie Abadie, I'd like to showcase my two favorite scarves by her:
Ciels Byzantins (Byzantins Skies) in the only color that doesn't have gold hence suits me to a T . The colorway is so fresh and the details are pretty! I love the charm piece in the center the most!

And... some mod pic from the archive:

My second favorite Abadie scarf:
Clic Clac a Pois: it's such a nice combination of classic (object design) and modern (polka dots). I think I'm twins with Lanit?
( dot overload when combined with the dress, though...)

Both are so beautiful on you chestnut! I hope you are settling in and heck, with a decrease in temp you can invest in some of the GMs for practically the same price of a mousse! Love the details in your Byzantine. Hope you get the lighting resolved because we'd miss your modeling photos like crazy!;)

Amazing how differently these two come across! Love them both. Thanks for sharing. :)

Good morning Silkies,

Thank you Croisette for the magnificent opening!! To avoid redundancy, I am not going to post the list of pieces from our featured designers as Croisette has done this beautifully!!

So, to welcome the week of designs by Henri d’Origny and Julie Abadie, let me end with a Rocabar Twilly lovin' goat.

D'Origny's gorgeous design has never been released in a silk twill 90, so you gotta go jersey, twilly or enamel!

What a cute little goatlet! :D:heart:

My contribution to Henri D'Origny

1) Le Grande Tenue - Shawl

2) L'Instruction du Roy - 2 shawls and one scarf

3) Mors et Gourmettes - 1 shawl and 2 silk scarves

4) Grand Manege - GM Silk

Hummm! Am really enjoying how the Mors et Gourmettes Remix looks like a completely different scarf in practically EVERY colorway! Beautiful Instructions du Roy as well.

Aw, who am I kidding...they're ALL gorgeous. :roflmfao:

i have so few of Abadie's designs but here is a favorite cotton scarf that brings memories of archery outings with my father and sisters. The bow featured in this scarf looks just like his bow and the red tipped arrows! Arc en Ciel cotton 70 cm.
