GORGEOUS photos Lanit...and as you know, we're twins on so many of these! Don't you just LOVE the MP pareo?! I've been wearing mine almost daily since I got it (inspired by Nico's initial photos).

Thank you darling HofT - now you know quite well who is responsible for my "twinning" certain silks of yours! Finally the Brides Rebelles was due to your always keeping your eagle eyes out for me:laugh:

Lanit, I agree, you have some gorgeous b/w scarves! ...and your mouth does haunt me (considering plastic surgery). If I use it somehow I will definitely send you the image.

Re: Peinture Fraiche, besides the sublime CW, I was also attracted to the mod shot on Hermes (no longer there) because it does look just like drips when worn. I will model it soon.

Here is one of the all-time greats (in fact, I think it was this scarf that began my obsession):

Thanks Jahna, but I really do not think you should be thinking of any surgery - I would love your streak and smile! Look at that Surprise silk. I think I saw the DIY thread with a gorgeous Blue version! We used to laugh about the splatter silks but now they are much coveted! And I wish I could have gotten the CdG LE one that LadyBaga and Markova have!

There is also a small chest with b&w shawls :D

Now look at the real treasure here - Bkm - your silk vault is reaching epidemic proportions! And to have the luxury of two of the same silks so you can Dip Dye to your heart's content. Let's find another for MOI!

Here is my modest contribution of scarves that have a white background! Two of which I've previously shared on this thread, I think ;) after seeing all of the beautiful b&w scarves this week I'm really surprised at how beautiful (and not sombre, as I had previously thought) they are! Some really amazing collections. Always a pleasure to flick through this thread

They are a gorgeous set Tiphaine. I see we are twins on the Pegasus as well!

Birkinmary, thank you for sharing not only your amazing scarves but also your beautiful self in action.

Anfang, your b/w beauties are so gorgeous.

Lanit, look at you secretive b/w scarf squirrel. The arrangement on the piano is seductive and you have a fab collection.

Sparkle, thanks for another stellar intro.

^^^I know!! I would have loved to have met you both! Your photos of the Hermes event were fabulous....looks like it was a very imaginative and fun event!

The Hermés event was wonderful, HfromT, the show, the happenings, the dinner and the party but... It was the company what made it a magical experience. As for the AW2014 scarves, I think it's going to be a so-so season for 90's, good for GM's and very good for 70's.

Oh sigh... YOU HAVE THE B/W PHAETON!!! :faint: I have only heard stories about that scarf.... Seriously birkinmary, isn't it enough that you are gorgeous!!?? sigh...

RE: modeling... I have a picture of me and "Surprise" here somewhere... :panic:

Thank you Jahna, I'll look for your action pic, it must tie beautifully.

Lol Lanit! :laugh:We both know there is another silk vault at the other side of the ocean, I've been drooling over yours for years!
When I bought the ruined Pont Neuf, I was so excited for having found the right color way that didn't care much about the huge stains but when our mutual dear friend found another one for me I was in :cloud9:

Thank you for your assessment of the upcoming season Birkinmary...I trust your instincts and already have a few GMs on my wish list!

Thank you Maedi - now this squirrel has hoarded too many silks and is outgrowing her closet space! Must edit edit edit!

Ok, I give up. :confused1: What is the DIY thread??

Here you go dear - think you would find it interesting...

Not the b/w today - this came from across the ocean and one I waited a long time for one to surface. Completely surprised about the colors though. Maybe it qualifies more as a 'sepia" silk?:D

Love your "Art d'Ecrire" lanit; a beautiful CW. And thanks for the link to the thread! I could get into trouble with this... still don't know what DIY stands for...
