Silkies - I am soooo guilty of being a b/w hoarder of H silks. :laugh:I counted over fifteen that I consider my b/w's including the dashes of reds and blues in some. Just arrived off the plane, the now ubiquitous MP - I get to wear this one all year round in my climate, thanks to a very helpful H angel. The very hard to find MP Pareo 'stole' my heart away after seeing arabesques and Nico's. I favor the twill for the dressier occasions and this stole for everyday. Here are most of them minus the two noted and already displayed by sparkle.

I got in a bit of trouble bringing them out on the piano - then quickly refolded them and to show how very few they actually were when DH came in from a run....my strategy for keeping him from thinking of his hoarding H silk DW. :laugh:

Will try to select a few to model this week for you all. Happy b/w sharing!

GORGEOUS photos Lanit...and as you know, we're twins on so many of these! Don't you just LOVE the MP pareo?! I've been wearing mine almost daily since I got it (inspired by Nico's initial photos).

Lanit, I agree, you have some gorgeous b/w scarves! ...and your mouth does haunt me (considering plastic surgery). If I use it somehow I will definitely send you the image.

Re: Peinture Fraiche, besides the sublime CW, I was also attracted to the mod shot on Hermes (no longer there) because it does look just like drips when worn. I will model it soon.

Here is one of the all-time greats (in fact, I think it was this scarf that began my obsession):

Thank you MomaS but all the credit is for HNutty and Imoline who inspired me with their projects posted on the DIY thread. The color is even better IRL and the texture of the silk has improved a lot. i'm so happy with the result that I'm already thinking of the next one, a vintage Champignons with navy border that barely leaves the drawer on really rainy days! :D

Here is my modest contribution of scarves that have a white background! Two of which I've previously shared on this thread, I think ;) after seeing all of the beautiful b&w scarves this week I'm really surprised at how beautiful (and not sombre, as I had previously thought) they are! Some really amazing collections. Always a pleasure to flick through this thread
