Cathy's second scarf. I haz two. The ivory is the Hennessey sp edition. That was my first and I wasnt planning on getting a second but I bought the burgundy from a friend since she was having trouble unloading it. Guess it's meant to be.
The Hennessy came with original packing and notecard from Hennessy but I couldnt find it quickly before leaving for airport.

finally a theme I can make an addition to :) I do not have that many scarfs, given the fact I try to track them down while thrifting. Only one I've bought at the boutique (last friday, yeah)
This one is my first and oldest silk scarf, which colors are growing slowly on me as i find them - well - a bit too pale. What do you think? Not sure how to match it, light colors too pale, dark colors too sharp contrast...
Anyway i love the butterflies ;)

The Farandole is delicate and pretty. It must look lovely with powder blue, no?

It appears to be an alcohol process~are those juniper berries? The old patterns tell a story and this one is SO cool. Like a history lesson.

Latham

Again, not my fave but she has been designing so long and i have been collecting so long that we've converged a few times. Currently I have 10 but I am away fromthe setonian museum so I am making do with what i have in suitcase.

washington's carriage - original issue
acquired this before the recent reissues. really not my cuppa but I am a sucker for blue n white

You know this is really a great scarf, one that is so easy to wear~uber classic and you are right in this CW it is compelling. Perfect for Mem Day if you are in the USA right now, and if you are not, its still perfect. Also like the reference to the Setonian Museum.....:D
