I am sooo loving this week! I am a huge fan of the older designs... I still have to do some research and see witch of the ones I have is "the oldest one" till then I will keep on feasting on your post!!!

Your look is so incredibly elegant!.... Can you be our teacher in posture and... "Haltung"? (attitude....)

your DD is truly divine!!! and I think it looks better on you than on the add!

Plumes is always such a pleasure to watch! very pretty!!!

birkinmary All of your contributions to last weeks theme are totaly gorgy (gorgeous) but I am particularly envious of the Ex Libris GM!!!! b e a u t i f u l

Dears... its Bronze! not gold... (Bronze/Karamel/kaki) Bronze is way more sophisticated than gold...

Mistress Lisa! We knew you would love love love this one... I know I do... ! major congrats on hunting this one down! ( may you wont be needing your other c/s TR... maybe?... u know who would..)
Thank you my dear Pegase! You don't need any Haltung teacher on this, you'll just have to .... age! I previously said to BritAbroad that these 140 were backing up my falling cheeks, and that I felt very much Karl Lagerfeld when wearing them! ;)

Sparklelisab, you inspire me to post a portrait I did many years ago (I love well-worn faces, except my own, of course!).
That is a stunning portrait, Jahna!! Hands down! :worthy:

CocoSoCo, that IS a fabulous CW of La Cle' Des Champ; thanks for posting it!

S'Mom, I love that scarf; I have the blue CW-not sure of the date-I'll try to take a picture tomorrow. And I am enjoying all the "Oiseaux"!

Anfang, thanks! I am still taking some of my color palettes from you...

Hi Andee, I'm not sparkle. But it's Tigre Royal Giant Dip Dye. Ref # H131632S cw 04. That's the cw sparkle has. HTH. :). There's also a green, a blue, and a coral.

How kind of you to answer!
I am going to check with my SA on the Bronze/Karamel/kaki
and hope it looks half as good on me as Sparkle.

I THINK this one is the oldest but I'm not entirely sure!!! "LA COMEDIE ITALIENNE" one of my favorites and not in very good condition I'm afraid....I searched high and low for an original issue and found one but, alas, it's seen better days. I don't wear it for fear of doing additional harm but I love looking at it!!! LOL!!!!

you know what they say in Toy Story 3: objects wants to be loved instead of being stored alone... Now that I wear a scarf almost every day, my scarves are a bit damaged, but I feel so happy to wear them!

I also wore my Tigre Royale DD today:

How do you manage to achieve such a nice casual chic look? When I wear the same kind of outfit, it looks like I try too much ;)

Melora! You finally got it!! Congrats!

And it's all thanks to you, my dear Jahna! Without you I wouldn't have tracked it down :)

Melora, they are sooo beautiful!

Thanks Anfang :) I'm really glad to have them. Now I'm happily sitting on ban island.
I'm so relieved Point d'orgue will not be a CSGM this season ;)

Melora, this is a beautiful combination. Is it your birthday scarf?

Sparklelisab, TR is perfect on you, the colors, the pattern... Which dd color way do you prefer?

Birkinmary, TR in blue is very beautiful with your Birkin and against your hair.

I am loving all the vintage beauties!

Dear Jahna! You painted this!? Its breath taking!!!! really! and the texture of the fabric.. I can actually "feel" it on my fingertips... rich, soft and velvety... just like dip dye silk!!!

Markova - so glad you still have this beautiful DD - you always look so ethereal in it! The knots- your namesakes definitely keep the silks on trend.

Scarfies - i have been MIA on the thread and just now getting around to ogling the wonderful posts. Before our week changes, here are some of my 'exceptionals'. The EL pointu is an Ode to our dear former tpf friend Robee from a few years ago. I read with great interest recently the thread on how one's love of silks can ebb and wane through the years of collecting many H silks. After seeing a few of these show up on tpf as a new member back then, I thought I'd never find one in the boutique. In those days visiting H was intimidating and I really did not think to ask for something I had seen on tpf. On one of my visits with a very young male SA, I asked if by chance there were any pointus, and he opened the drawer for me to discover this pristine white one. Shock. awe. delight. I will never forget the shivers down my spine when serendipity struck and this one will likely not leave my collection for years to come. Five years later Ms. Blue came along on the Bay as a companion. Cheers to our silk happiness and to keeping the flame alive.
Dear Lanit! I am so hapy for you that you found this beauties! Both pointus look so good on you.. I have always had a secret crush on fringes...
There comes a point where you know its better to have a look inside all those drawers in the shop instead of just listening to what the SA have to say... lol

Nestgirl I am Maxi Twilly twins with you:ghi5: Here is my little souvenir from Venice:smile1:
such a lovely souvernif!!! I specially like how you wear it as a belt! (Spring 2014 thread) I also "lost myself" yesterday surfing throuh your blog! so many pretty pictures!!!

Gawd birkinmary, if I looked like you I would post "mod" shots all the time...

Thank you Jahna! your comment made me :blushing:

Finallly I can have a look on this blue Tigre! Major congrats, birkinmary, it's perfection!

It's beautiful, isn't it? the BE background changes beautifully according to the light, I'm in :cloud9:, thank you anfang!

^^^^ahhhh you're killing me Birkinmary....you know how much I LOVE Clerc!!! And what a memory you have...you remember my EL dip dye! You more than made up for missing the blue EL with the stunning Tigre.

How could I forget i HfromT? it was an action pic in NYC, it made me regret having missed it for myself!

How do you manage to achieve such a nice casual chic look? When I wear the same kind of outfit, it looks like I try too much ;)

Why? a simple pair of jeans and a turtle neck must look beautiful with your scarves, melora.

Birkinmary, TR in blue is very beautiful with your Birkin and against your hair.

I am loving all the vintage beauties!

Thank you Maedi, TR is really special but my love is always for the oldie goodies!

I'm still on cloud nine with my new scarf, and noticed that the color and theme match my bracelet.
This bracelet is the first H item I got, although it's actually younger than the scarf.

My mom's Les Bles. The original design is 1956, I'm not sure if this was original edition or not, but it's certainly far too fragile to wear (note the darning). That year she would have been a recent graduate of the University of Illinois, in Champaign (not Champagne!).
