Melora24: "Seriously, how can you post so many pictures? I go to Paris, sleep in a hotel, hop in a plane, arrive in California, and find 4 pages of pictures and chat!!"

Oh Melora, the solution is so simple: DON'T GO TO PARIS! EVER!

D Lee : "Jahna, pls take very good care of yourself! We don't want u MIA again!

D Lee
, thanks so much. I am feeling MUCH better. Holding my breath about DH though...

Sparkle, the knot looks great; is that part of your jacket underneath? (Looks like it could be another scarf...)

Ladies and gentleman, you look gorgeous. I love all your scarves and the way you are wearing them. And once again, thank you very much for modelling photos, it is such a pleasure to see different scarves in real life:ty:
I also love seeing the scarves modelled in real life, in fact there are many times I have passed on something on the H website because it looks "ordinary" (H looking ordinary - hush my mouth!) and yet the same scarf looks stunning on you lovely silkies here

I didn't even realized before I arrived at the custom that I had chosen a scarf that honored the US: my KO ;)
Melora - Did you pick up any H goodies while you were in Paris?!?!? :smile1:

Dear Hobokenite, Maedi, Jahna, Nico_79, and Anfang--

Thank you for your kind words! I love the plisses and am sad they won't be made any longer. :rain:

Since yellow is a color that doesn't like me, my contributions to the week's theme will be limited. But I've enjoyed seeing so many gorgeous true and bright yellow scarves--you ladies have some treasures, and you photograph them well!

Here is my next most yellow scarf...
There seems to be mixed feelings about plisse, and since i'm not that skilled/effective at tying scarves should I get one, or would it sit unworn in it's box? I'd be interested in all your views.

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong thread, when i looked earlier it doesn't seem to be the kind thing discussed on the Hermes Chat forum and none of the others seem to fit either....

It looks like everyone posting to this thread is ready for SPRING!!! Such a collection of pretty scarves, wow! The yellow colors have really given the discussion a lot of energy!

Firstly, my thanks to Ladybaga, Hobokenite, D Lee, Nico_79 and Pegase for kind words on the Aloha plisse. I'm partial to those and have recently sent several scarfs to Paris for pleating. I've had this done several times and it seems as though this will be the only way to add them to our collections.

Rosamonde: Love both your scarves but, as you might guess, am partial to your BdG plisse. I love the way you've tied it. Nicely done!

Maedi: A very pretty Jungle Love and I enjoyed seeing it styled with a pretty scarf ring. Very nice gift from DM! You both have good taste!

Israeli_Flava: Wowza....The scarves....the B....I have to look away!!! BTW, you love lovely in everything you wear.

lanit: Especially loving your beautiful cashmere! The colors in that scarf must be stunning IRL.

jyyanks: I love your "maxi" and think the yellow is a nice contrast with the pink and black backgrounds. That counts for yellow!

sparklelisab: Such a pretty scarf and a very stylish knot! A nice new option! I may have to open those card boxes afterall....

Regards to all!

I think it's better to buy one to understand if you like it or not by trying the plisse on. I bought gavroche and then realized it's totally not mine. Now I'm doing the same with plisse (actually waiting for it to be posted), but I think I'll be luckier with it;)

Wahooo Silkies, I am on theme with a new knot. I saw this on a scarf card and tried it this morning. Not bad for one minute. If Chestnutty did this, of course it would be prettier, but I am pleased with my lame self.

sparklelisab, This is FABULOUS on you! Love the colorway, design, and the way you have tied it! Very nice, my friend!!!:smile1:

And my humble contribution to this week's theme.

Ladybaga (we're twins on Photo Finish) and scarf1....thanks for adding a few St. Pat's selections to the thread. I love the ACdV and am waiting on one of the "neutral" ones. No one does color like the big H so it's hard for me to actually follow through with my plan to go "neutral and pastel" this spring...very hard.
