Well, that Yellow Rose of Texas WAS for you, Ladybaga! Loved the green!

Michel, a superb outfit!! The shirt is fab, the scarf is great with it and are the sweater and pants grey? I think Paynes grey here...

Yes Jahna, it's a kind of grey pants , sweater is rather dark blue

We actually opened a new thread as the old one has reached capacity (>10k posts) and had to close, not because we exhausted the weekly themes yet. The first three themes are actually from the prior "scarf fiscal year" (i.e. year with Jahna as our Scarf Mistress), or existing themes carried over to this new thread. This Animal scarves theme is a popular theme so it's listed for the the previous "year" and also this upcoming "year", which will start soon. Talking of which, we have two Scarf Mistress volunteer positions if you are interested :graucho:.

I have several scarves that I would consider more of a true yellow....and this is one of them. The tag is long gone but it's Ahola with many bright, beautiful colors. I always wear it when we travel there. One of my favorites.

Pegase, re: "Scarf Misstress/Master" ... I think if two people share it as Chestnutty said it would be a good idea. You could do every other week, or "spell" each other, or do your favorite weeks...

I really disappeared for a long time because of family situations; had I "known" others on this thread as well as I now do I probably could have lined up help. It IS fun, but does take time.

Thanks to the well-wishers here; I found out that what I had was a case of "Norovirus", highly contagious and a 1-to 3 day bout with awful things (google it). It is what has sent several cruise ships back to port early (crowded conditions); 700 people sick on the last one!! So be careful and wash your hands. Still waiting and hoping DH does not get it.

Did somebody say no more plisse? What a shame. They are so lovely to wear.

Seriously, how can you post so many pictures? I go to Paris, sleep in a hotel, hop in a plane, arrive in California, and find 4 pages of pictures and chat!! ;)

I didn't even realized before I arrived at the custom that I had chosen a scarf that honored the US: my KO ;)
