Thank you @SilkCouture and @Helena7! Also @redheaddem, I just read back that your family has been under the weather with flu and I hope you are fully recovered by now!

And some red yummy strawberries from the last summer when I went to pick some with my Mum🥰. They’re partially on theme😂

A beautiful selection of reds-- the Sieste is amazing on you but they are all lovely @Helena7 and yummy looking strawberries too!
Greetings Scarflandia, it’s been awhile! Winter arrived in Texas so I’ve been enjoying breaking out the cashmeres. Delighted to be on theme with Aaaaargh!

Very nice pattern mixing @Snausages. Nice to see you!
Hello, scarf friends!

As we step into the Lunar New Year, let’s take a moment to appreciate its beautiful diversity across cultures. We often talk of the Chinese Nee Year, but numerous other countries celebrate the Lunar New Year with their unique customs and symbolism—places like Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Nepal, and beyond.

Today, let’s celebrate the global spirit of this festive season together with the scarves that celebrate these countries!

Japan: Nikko, Esprit Ainou, L’Artisans, Gina (Hermes has done lots of Japanese-themed scares, this is a tiny selection; I would love to see all yours!)

Myanmar: Marche Flottant du lac InleView attachment 6123290

Nepal: La Femme aux Semelles de Vent

I invite you to share your scarves that either feature the culture of those incredible countries or resonate with the spirit. Think bold patterns, intricate designs, and motifs that reflect their rich heritage.

As always, this is just a suggestion, and any SOTD is welcome.
Beautiful @AnnaE-- your collection is so comprehensive! I think you could illustrate any TPF theme on the calendar, not just the New Year!
Bridging over from last week with Orphée and its seafoam border.
And Mille feuilles de soie showing a Japanese garden.

Love both on you and delighted to be twins @Maedi-- the styling on Mille Feuilles is brilliant!
Hello and good morning.
I have two scarves related to Japan, Parures de Samourais and Ex Libris en Kimonos, both considered General Grails but in fact none of my Personal Grails. Both are very beautiful and the intricate pattern of PdS is perhaps the most detailed I have ever seen whereas ELeK has a spectacular combination of colours and patterns and depicts a crane which seems to be a symbol of luck (?). I hope this is true, I could well need it, last year was not a good one for me.🤨 View attachment 6123331View attachment 6123332
I agree with @Redbirdhermes that we are the lucky ones to have you in our merry band @darkstar66 and I do sincerely hope that 2025 is a better year. I am delighted to be your ELeK twin. In my case I was enabled by our wonderful @momasaurus many years ago!
First wear of Botanica Grafica 90 today.

Collections Imperiales is such a great design and the colours look lovely with your hair and complexion, @Awillow!

And another great Collections Imperiales; there really is no cw that isn‘t beautiful! I wish I could get my hands on this cw, it‘s extremely versatile and fun, @LKBNOLA.

Absolutely gorgeous! I wish I had bought these CSGMs too, the paisley like pattern is great in every cw, @orchard.

So lovely as a CSGM, it looks very pretty with your jacket and bracelet, @Croisette7.

Wonderful colours, @Karenska!

Savana Dance has the perfect border!

I love the colours of the border; absolutely striking!

The abstract pattern is truly eye catching!

Wonderful colours, the tulips really pop against the navy blue background.
Thank you, Thelittlefoxes!
Kelly en p is so pretty. Is the jacket a Berchtesgadner? Beautiful combinations all around.
Thank you Maedi ... yes, it is.
❤️ twins and fabulous skirt.
Nice to be twins, dear!

This is a terrific scarf ring for the lines of this design. Wonderful!
My SOTD is not specifically Lunar New Year related but I am theme-adjacent because the artist, Jin Kwon, is Korean and the design is in the style of typical folding screens (according to the scarf story)! Also, I am delighted that it has nice big splotches of red and some gold for luck and prosperity...

Twins on this happy design, lovely with your top! I forgot about the red that you highlighted so well.
I wore this for hems and borders week but it also works this week because it depicts lovely Asian fabrics. I wanted to wear it a bit differently so I used my white scarf ring and fluffed the scarf a bit. I also paired it with navy blue instead of the usual purple.View attachment 6123365

So good to see you and you look so lovely with the pink twilly and jumper!

Both are perfection on you Maedi. So elegant!

Good morning to you. I love the purple and the pandas!

Thank you @Thelittlefoxes -- I totally agree with your description of Collections Imperiales-- it can be either fun or very elegant depending and there are so many beautiful cws. I would love to have @Nomad's and @Awillow's lovely pastel one too!
