Thank you for hosting a wonderful week, dear Karenska. I’ve been absent due to some medical issues w close family member but it looks like it’s going to be ok. Whew!
I didn’t even have time or energy to catch up here or take pics of my Space Derby or Sur Mon Nuage scarves w fun hems but I went mad trying to distract myself and got 4 new scarves in last two weeks. 3 of these just arrived and they made me happy.

This cw is so very special, I was inspired by our lanit.A gorgeous array of beautiful reds for your lovely introduction @AnnaE! Thank you for taking the helm this week. I don't have a many red scarves in my collection -- in fact two have already been posted so my options are even more diminished! I will look for red surprises and red-adjacent pieces this week. In fact here is a scarf that crosses over from last week's theme-- Sieste au Paradis has one of the great borders of Scarfdom and here is a beautiful 90 cw in reds, pinks, blues and greys... Inspired by @Croisette7, @CedarWaxWing and @Nomad's recent posts of red/burgundy cws of Bateaux and Robe du Soir, too!

.Great advice, @AnnaE, and an inspiring two posts filled with beauties. I have always loved that cw of PdV; I think I love every PdV issue. I showed my fuscia, pink, red and gold PdV plisse yesterday, here is an internet photo of it flat and unpleated to show off the wonderful colors in this colorway.

Thank you for these interesting suggestions, @AnnaE .To find more energy, resilience and optimism is one of my big objectives, this year and every year. I have the feeling that especially the media tend more and more to only point to negative or dangerous aspects, because this apparently sells better. One of the newspapers I read has started to make a weekly summary of only positive news, as if this were something extraordinary. All this makes me nervous. My SOTD is Carpe Diem, a motto which I should try to live up to. 🤔
