Thank you so much, dear @Croisette7.Looks great on you with your beautiful blue eyes!
So nice twisted, and your always happy smile!
La Marche du Zambeze has a beautiful border and a lovely pop of colour for its hem. Same sweater, different scarf.

Acte III for me today as well. I just love this beauty, and its charming red hem.

Thank you, dear Scarfies, for your kind comments and thank yous. It has been fun to show off our hems, borders and fringes. You all have such grace and style and I think I have a few more scarves on The Wish List nowincluding finding Jungle Love Triangle which I sent back and now regret. (I have an ace up my sleeve to acquire it again
.) I’ll leave the week with a few more borders and that crazy little zigzag hem of plisses.

Have a beautiful Saturday and Sunday!
Thank you to @Karenska for leading us in a delightful week exploring our fancy hems and borders. My scarf today has saddles and various other equipment decorating the four corners of the scarf. In fact, they dwarf the horses in the center circle.

Along with the strap and chain border, and the black contrast hem, the fancy saddles make for a striking design.
Cavalcades is my scarf of the day.

Off theme but heading to the movies in my beloved Acte IIIView attachment 6122071
I've never seen the blue one, just beautiful LKB! esp. the owl!
I love the blue Bateaux, Nomad! I think I need one.
All of these are so spectacular I can't even find the words! I don't know how I dropped the quote on that gorgeous Cavaliers du Caucasse and your other beauties are just TDF and as always, perfectly presented and styled @Croisette7. Your CSGM collection is magnificent... I do think you would love the blue Bateaux-- a very different feeling from the stunning black. (And thank you! The blue Amazones is a delight; there was a darker one released as well and some confusion between the two but this one is light and lovely...)
Well, if I owned this I would consider myself in Blue Heaven @PoliticalGal -- you look fabulous.Heading out to dinner in Jardin de la Maharani. Others have already posted this one for its beautiful border, but I figure the more the merrier! I think this might be my all time favorite shawl.

OMG. If this were an entry in the "Who Wore it Better" I nominate Lino, hands down. Sorry @Jacq1-- you have some competition...Today‘s scarf was not H but a little silk from a dear friend. In lieu I finally got Lino to model my new twilly.

The hem against that caban or marine border really does add something special @EtsyBoss. It nicely echoes the checkerboard section, too!Horse Club is one of my go-to throw-and-go shawls for winter. Bonus for the variegated hem, otherwise the edges are rather plain. I'm glad they opted for the fancy hem for this one, it really makes it pop!

You do the Edot Knot so well @mktlim! A nice way to feature borders and hems...Oh gosh I need to catch up on posts, so many wonderful scarves from you all!
Zouaves et Dragons for a quick meet up with a friend.

Thank you-- I would like to think that somehow, through TPF magic, the one aorund my neck is your former ELeK @Maedi!Both look fabulous on you. I sold that ExLibris since I couldn’t make the colors work for me.
The yellow and lilac side is beautiful on you @darkstar66!!!Hello and good morning,
A scarf today with which I broke 2 of my "principles", no white hem, no military. I'm not at all consistent.😬 But: it has beautiful decorated corners! Thank you so much @Karenska , for guiding us through this fascinating week.View attachment 6121885View attachment 6121886
All are beautiful, but I didn’t really see before that the Cavalier en Formes has such a striking border! Jumps right into my wishlist! 😂 Oh my…
Amazing! It looks fantastic-- I could not find a 90 Fanfare to work on me and chose this one as well @Katharina Luise -- I love it!My most worn scarf of this winter is this little CS from the men‘s collection. Parade en Fanfare. It is perfect with all the grey, black and olive I tend to wear in the colder months. It has a very subtle contrast hem in pale grey.

A great braid @GloWW0rM -- love the cobalt blue sweater too. I'm inspired to pull my version out-- it is such a great all season color but especially good to brighten the dark mid-winter months.La Marche du Zambeze has a beautiful border and a lovely pop of colour for its hem. Same sweater, different scarf.

Wowza @Coco2606 -- this looks amazing on the bright green blazer...I hope you can get some rest now that January is (almost) in the rearview mirror...36 pages to read...
Hello Scarfies, here is my contribution. January is so busy, for the moment it's just about virtual nap with Sieste !View attachment 6122022
