This week is so full of inspiration for future acquisitions! A big thanks from me and absolutely no thanks from my wallet 🤭I did not have enough time to comment properly, only to give 😍 to all your beautiful posts!
I managed to wear some of my grails this week. All of them were lucky finds during last year.
First my precious La Femme aux Semelles de Vent, which I had been hunting for years!
And then Tous les Bateaux du Monde. Both with beautiful borders. Both in nice condition under retail price.

Beautiful and lucky finds, @Katharina Luise . A Tous les Bataux has turned up lately for me, but it's the one with the bright blue background and quite gaudy ships and although I adore the border on it, I'm not so sure if it is the cw for me. In fact, I like the amount of fabric, I'm becoming more and more prone to feeling chilled - old age?😬😬 But on the other hand, I have quite a bunch of flower based scarves, and not all H I'm afraid, and though these are of course not comparable to Tulipomanie, I feel I should not add any more. Lovely to see you modelling your beautiful grails Happy they came your way after such a long search.
At the end of last year @Cookiefiend and I were on the prowl in the same corner of the silk jungle, muttering "MOAR ELeK!" My twin to her cw of Ex Libris en Kimonos just returned from Tiecrafters and I was reminded about the wonderful borders!
And my SOTD Epopee d'Hermès has a delightful border that reminds me of a game board!

Panoplie is one of the great Virginie Jamin borders for sure @Nomad-- congratulations on a wonderful find! And congratulations also on your new-in Chorus Stellarum-- this blue cw looks wonderful on you!I’m in more of a csgm mode with the cold these days and also wearing my new-ins.
So Chorus was worn most of the day today. And showing a picture of one I haven’t worn yet called panoplie equestre to show this totally fun border design. And I am going to say it again, look at the saturation on the backside too.
Another scarfie has this cw too, but I can’t remember who it was at the moment.

@darkstar66, I would love to find the CSGM with the black center field that @Croisette7 has, but in the meantime I have this blue one. Not sure of you mean the 90 or the CSGM? I was technically sworn off "placeholders" but I am pretty happy with this one!
