I brought one Aline Honoré with me this week: my new-ish (last summer) CSGM of Tous les Bateaux du Monde. Wearing it today as we are headed into an indoor activity with a/c blasting!

And our dear @Croisette7 reminded me of one of Honoré's seldom seen designs, so I am posting from the archives La Vie du Fleuve. I love this icy blue cw, which she inspired/enabled into my closet! A photo from this past winter. She has shown it flat-- its a beauty!

And due to the humid heat I decided on the iceblue option and tied bova styly - the only way I can bear to wear in this weather, and as such a favorite knot this summer

Thank you! My ACdlV has the pink border with green center. I believe it is from the original issue and has a soft vintage feel to it. I often try to hide the pink border though since it is not my favorite color

Cookie, I don’t know what wizardry you do to bring out ALL of the colour in cheval serene and hide all the plain bits. You make it look amazing. Bateaux is sublime.

I am already sneaking in my SOTD: I am sure after Aline and Annie, we will shift to Alice today. I only own Cheval Sirene of her designs. I am loving the B side more and more for its almost neutral quality.

Even though I admire a lot more, i have not yet found any more for reasonable prizes..

Apologies for not commenting on all your wonderful posts dear scarfies! There are a lot of things happening here that prevent me from tying scarves, taking photos etc. Only enough time to admire your beautiful selections and giving a little love emoji ❤️
And because of actual heatwave no intention to wear something around my neck. 🫣 Anyhow a belated thanks to @AnnaE for teaching us so much about everything Grygkar related! It was wonderful! 😍 And thanks to @Jereni for guiding us through a week with my absolute favorite designers! The three A ladies are by far the most represented in my scarf drawer.
So today I took one of my most loved scarves Pélages et Camouflages and used it as a headband. This is the red one. I have two other 90 silks in green and brown and a warm one for autumn and winter.
The green, brown and Cashmere are from the archives.

I have to agree with @HermesEchidna that Aline Honoré has produced some of the most beautiful scarves in the Hermès galaxy and with @darkstar66's view that she is one of the most accomplished designers.
I only have four designs in multiple (format or cw), and three are by her. My silk PdS today (the other is my most precious blue CSGM)

I’ve completely lost my voice but am feeling a bit better; I’ve made it through a daylong virtual work summit with the help of Annie Faivre and am now able to spend a bit of time outdoors. In my, admittedly limited, collection, I consider Aline Honoré as the most "accomplished" designer. Her drawings are incredibly detailed, she works with nuances and shadows and is thus able to create illusionary designs, as for example in Cent Plis des Miao, an underrated design imo. Look at those pleats, don't they look real? And then these intricate patterns with blanc matte overlay!View attachment 6214249 The first design which attracted me and started my hunt for Aline designs was Plumes en Fête, a CSGM, and then I bought this 90. She creates the illusion as if sunlight touches the feathers, makes them shimmer and gleam and lets them dance. Whew, ok real life stuff in the first half of this week has not intersected well with hosting duties but now I can focus a little more.

@Croisette7 what can I say, your collections of these artists are paralleled to none, I think! Where to even begin. I love that purple and gray Torana, the Zenobie pair make you look like a queen, the Rencontre Ocean has lovely summery colors, and that white and red Etoffes is TDF! I’d actually been stalking that one the other day so it was so helpful to see a mod shot of it. And ohhh that cw of Mare Nostrum! Thank you for sharing all these beauties and more!

@LKBNOLA another fabulous collection that we all get to oh and ah over! Thank you for sharing that darling Marwari dip dye, the soft pink was so soothing and such a flattering shade. And loved that this pic included a peek of your bracelet stack! Also wonderfully done on the pattern mixing of JdH and the fun floral pants, and perfect spring-y green look with JdP.

@cascade2021 that cw of Maîtres is so bold and decadent in the best possible way! I am tempted to hunt for it.

@GloWW0rM the purple and pink/red combo in that Maharani is so perfect on you! Hope you are surviving the heat ok. Beautiful Maîtres in the rich dark pink. Furthermore, huge congrats on that Chacun Fait son Nid! Those tones are absolute dynamite on you, and in fact I don’t think I’m familiar with this cw and may copy you. Again.

@Nomad be still my heart those Zenobies!!!!!! Ugh those are spectacular. I considered this design long ago and then moved on but now that I see your blue and reddish one…

@darkstar66 a very beautiful Legends d’Arbres with that green border! It’s funny - I find ‘arbre’ to be possibly the most difficult word to pronounce in the entirety of the French language. It’s #lifegoals for me to master that one. Love your integrated tank top tie with Caucase - luscious is def the right word for that design! It sings on you.

@FA73 whoa that amazing camouflage pairing! I freakin love it! T-shirt epically elevated for sure. Most beauteous green JdP also. I tried that one but it did not shine on me the way it does on you and LKB.

@HermesEchidna - very cool Paradis du Roy! One of the earliest AF designs - thank you for sharing. Congrats on the new De La Mer! That design came in so many great cws.
