Good evening!
The site has been inaccessible to me on and off for the last days, and I have not been able to post but I hope all my ❤️ reactions for those beautiful photos have registered.

Now at last it works, and I am home after the first day at work after the holidays. Sigh.
So here is sotd Faivre’s Paradis du roy - one of my very early scarves from when I could count the collection on one hand - the happy days of spacious closets.

Wish you a wonderful evening.

@Croisette7 here is the flat lay; sorry that last night got too busy!

Thank you, @Maedi and @LKBNOLA

!

The colors are of course nothing related to nature, but I think they’re pretty. ;)

I also consider this a “blue” scarf, but it’s really turquoise and blue-purple on either side of a true blue. The birds themselves are bluer!

Also, the crows were unimpressed, but a ton of weeding unearthed lots of bugs and worms so I think they’re still my buddies.
Thank you Fizzy! It's lovely, bookmarked!

Jardin Sintra
Hello,
Yes, this week will be the most exciting one for me, these 3 grand As are my favourite H scarf designers. As for Annie, I admire her interwoven pattern mixing, her ornamental skills but also her cute animals and wonderful gardens. My first Annie Faivre was this one, Légende de l'Arbre which I bought perhaps 25 years ago. I like it especially for its interesting green border.View attachment 6213244
The green is fabulous.

Annie Faivre has been such a prolific designer for Hermes and is so beloved, I am not sure what insight I can truly add this week.

As I do not know a ton about her (or any particular designer), I made a list of all her scarves, by year, and attempted to group them into major themes. I came up with:
  • Garden & Nature (20)
  • Equestrian (14)
  • Clothing & Jewelry (11)
  • History & Culture (8)
  • Mythological & Fantastical (7)
  • Place (4)
  • Performance (3)

This is all very subjective of course, and ‘Place’ and ‘Performance’ could probably be just included under ‘History & Culture’ for a simpler list. And many of these overlap.

Besides garden & nature which are my favorite themes for scarves in general, I’m also a fan of Faivre’s designs that feature clothing or jewelry - she very much celebrates the art of textiles. I don’t own many of them, just Voyage en Étoffes, but here are a few examples, some of these designs having been already shared by you lovely ladies:

Thanks for all of the research and photos. What a prolific artist. And your Voyage scarf and jewellery pairings are sublime. You really have a knack of choosing/curating your collection of scarves to complement your unique style. Bella!!

Happy Monday, everyone! I am about to hit the road again until Wednesday but posting two Annie Faivre "Jardins" for the sub-theme. Like everyone here, I have some choices when it comes to Annie Faivre designs, but these are the two most recently acquired garden motif scarves in my collection!

And my SOTD, Jardin des Peintres. I started with @Jereni's blue cw and added this one because it is so reminiscent of New Orleans' Uptown and Garden districts (hat tip to my enabler @FA73).

OMG, these are heavenly, Jardin des Peintres is so intricate and pretty. I certainly chose the right week to check in. Also sorry about the multiple responses. I should just do one for all of the contributions on here. Safe travels.
